President Trump Lays Out Criteria for Vice Presidential Pick During Interview with Maria Bartiromo and Floats Two Potential Cand...
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump joined Maria Bartiromo for an interview that played on Sunday Morning Futures earlier today.
Scott and Noem both bring diversity quals to the table obviously. Neither of them are a good idea. Scott seems like a genuinely nice person on some level but he's pulled the race card in the past, so he's a non-starter on any race issue. Probably weak on a bunch of other stuff. Noem cucked out to the necromorphs and is a girlboss. At least she's easy on the eyes for a post-menopause chick.
VP doesn't matter that much, but I'm thinking of the heir apparent for the next primary cycle. I dunno, maybe the VP rubber stamp won't matter much either.
For Trump the VP pick is how you ensure that no one JFKs your ass. Pick someone just as hated as you by the Deep State, and you ensure that no one ever picks you off.
For a warmonger, Tim Scott is a really nice guy.
Next primary cycle? Trump might well die in office, either naturally or by foul means. The VP pick needs to be solid for that reason alone.
So he talks about Tim Scott and Kristi Noem here.
I think these two picks are not the worst choices since I am glad it ain't Nikki Israeli Haley but I would prefer a strong conservative V.P. like J.D. Vance or Rand Paul.
I dont like either of those two either though. Could do a lot worse but could do way better.
My #1 preferred top pick would be Rand Paul.
Who is your preferred top pick?
Thomas Massie. He refuses to be pushed around by (((special interests))) that makes him look better to me, than 98% of the people there. Rand Paul would be the second option. If it comes down to Scott and Noem, I would pick Noem, that being said both options suck really.
Massie is phenomenal but I don't think Trump would ever pick him ever since Massie opposed the CARES act and Trump tried to primary him and that dumb idea thankfully failed.
As an Ohioan I am a little biased towards Vance but Paul is probably the best pick. Or Smith1980 to help win the black vote.
Ha! I don’t think I’d be much help there. I’ve been attacked plenty for saying disproportionate crime rates are a serious issues to address. Also until I see otherwise, I don’t see the black republican vote rise any higher than the 8-12% that we see. Maybe I’m proven wrong but I doubt it
Yeah no way, black voters are way too indoctrinated into associating Democrats with free things and Republicans as racist
Which is why until I’m proven wrong I don’t care what I see, I’ll just assume the usual 8-12%.
Every 4 years, there's a mirage of black support, but then reality turns out very differently.
Hell, the GOP did a lot to try to appeal to blacks in 2020. Barely any difference, but there was a massive surge in Latino support without any organized effort.
Yep, I live in TX and I’ve seen the Latino switch to red. After 2020 my dad was furious and said GOP shouldn’t spend another dime on outreach to blacks. I feel the same way unless there was a massive surge of support which I don’t see. Picking a black running mate in hopes of getting more black votes is foolish. Now if you wanted a black running mate on merit I’d love to see Larry Elder but that wouldn’t happen. Also, you can’t lose any of the white base. Simple fact
No one should ever be picked in the hope of getting votes from a certain race. And like you say, it wouldn't work anyway - black face of white supremacy and all that.
But if someone is the best man for the job, great. I'd like to see them embarrass themselves on a national scale, as surely they would.
Rand Paul would be great as VP, hands down first choice for the office.
But I would go with Ted Cruz. Trump is good at human nature politics, Cruz is good at intellectual politics. I think Cruz has by far the best shot at 2028 from the populist/pro-American wing.
2028 will be full-on restore the "adults in the room" new world order agenda. The Nikki Haleys will have billions to spend on the primary, all the news and tech will be totally in the bag. Rand even with VP chops is not going to win against that, Cruz would (as long as he keeps the beard).
Ted Cruz is a massive neocon, and certainly no populist.

Cruz calling the election rigged on Jan 6, objecting to certifying the electoral votes
You can pick individual data points against anybody, but on balance he's the best we've got that has any chance of winning.
I disagree on how much appeal Cruz has. I'm not at all sure that he does better than a Josh Hawley, Mike Lee or a Rand Paul for that matter.
Cruz beat out Rand 7,822,100 to 66,788 (117 to 1) in the primary.
Hillary knifed Claire McCaskill in the back so Josh Hawley had an easy opponent, and he's a political baby.
Mike Lee is mormon which won't play well outside of UT.
They are pretty awful though - Scott is a neocon and attacked the police, and Noem is a corporatist. I think the only reason why you are positive, is because you were worried that it would be Birdbrain.
And these two may be more 'conservative' than Rand Paul and J.D. Vance - neither of whom are particularly 'conservative', but I agree that they're the best choices.
Rand Paul (and Ron Paul), is one of the few conservatives I actually respect.
I am already flipping my vote for 2024, but picking Rand Paul for VP would solidify my decision.
The Zionist lobby will never allow him to be on the ticket.
I mean, I'd love it if were possible to get Alex Jones for VP just for memes and removes any chance the deep state JFK's him.
But not the worst picks but him just getting in will be enough in some regards. 2016 disrupted the machine enough that it's falling apart now, him in again this year not needing to care about re-election might be enough to damage it beyond repair
Alex Jones for press secretary.
Vampire pot bellied goblins on suicide watch.
Names I heard floating around included Ben Carson and Kari Lake. Not sure how I feel about Scott or Noem
I view the entire Establishment Republican party as hopelessly corrupt, and therefore cannot get behind anyone being picked as VP that comes from establishment RNC circles. That includes Tim Scott or Noem, and would also include the likes of Rand Paul, and especially Ted Cruz.
Politicians that come up from within our current system are constrained by that system when that very same system needs to be radically reformed. Outsiders with a willingness to take a flame thrower to that corrupt system are what we need, but unfortunately the pickings for that are very slim.
I'm curious about what your thoughts are on Kari Lake?
She's an outsider, like Trump is. She never held elected office before she ran for AZ governor. She is a former long time TV reporter, though, which is the only quibble I would have with her.
Given my preference, I'd rather she were making another run at governor instead of a Senator, because one Senator can't make much of an impact if the other 99 are corrupt as hell, as we just saw with Oklahoma Senator Langford and his traitorous immigration bill.
Why not Ramaswamy?
Vivek certainly has great communication skills but he really should not be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.
He has a shady past with regards to his biotech company Roivant and who funded it.
Cause people judge the individual and not the race?
no foreigners in government.
If he was a "foreigner" (not born in the US) he wouldn't qualify for the office.
being born in a stable does not make a cat a horse
Nor does it change the fact that both are mammals.
oh well i guess we should just allow xi jinping to be vice president
You should consider the possibility that Vivek was on the Trump payroll since the beginning. Trump doesn't want to legitimize the debates so a proxy goes instead and spouts Trumpisms. Even better, the proxy is non-white so the usual M5M attacks don't work on him.
I think you give Trump too much credit here.
Because he's an undercover globalist.
Then everything he's said during the campaign is lies? What sort of inside dope do you have, or is this just a typical online paranoid reaction?
He has ties to the WEF, ties they tried to bury on the internet.
