President Trump Lays Out Criteria for Vice Presidential Pick During Interview with Maria Bartiromo and Floats Two Potential Cand...
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump joined Maria Bartiromo for an interview that played on Sunday Morning Futures earlier today.
My #1 preferred top pick would be Rand Paul.
Who is your preferred top pick?
Thomas Massie. He refuses to be pushed around by (((special interests))) that makes him look better to me, than 98% of the people there. Rand Paul would be the second option. If it comes down to Scott and Noem, I would pick Noem, that being said both options suck really.
Massie is phenomenal but I don't think Trump would ever pick him ever since Massie opposed the CARES act and Trump tried to primary him and that dumb idea thankfully failed.
As an Ohioan I am a little biased towards Vance but Paul is probably the best pick. Or Smith1980 to help win the black vote.
Ha! I don’t think I’d be much help there. I’ve been attacked plenty for saying disproportionate crime rates are a serious issues to address. Also until I see otherwise, I don’t see the black republican vote rise any higher than the 8-12% that we see. Maybe I’m proven wrong but I doubt it
Yeah no way, black voters are way too indoctrinated into associating Democrats with free things and Republicans as racist
Which is why until I’m proven wrong I don’t care what I see, I’ll just assume the usual 8-12%.
Every 4 years, there's a mirage of black support, but then reality turns out very differently.
Hell, the GOP did a lot to try to appeal to blacks in 2020. Barely any difference, but there was a massive surge in Latino support without any organized effort.
Yep, I live in TX and I’ve seen the Latino switch to red. After 2020 my dad was furious and said GOP shouldn’t spend another dime on outreach to blacks. I feel the same way unless there was a massive surge of support which I don’t see. Picking a black running mate in hopes of getting more black votes is foolish. Now if you wanted a black running mate on merit I’d love to see Larry Elder but that wouldn’t happen. Also, you can’t lose any of the white base. Simple fact
Rand Paul would be great as VP, hands down first choice for the office.
But I would go with Ted Cruz. Trump is good at human nature politics, Cruz is good at intellectual politics. I think Cruz has by far the best shot at 2028 from the populist/pro-American wing.
2028 will be full-on restore the "adults in the room" new world order agenda. The Nikki Haleys will have billions to spend on the primary, all the news and tech will be totally in the bag. Rand even with VP chops is not going to win against that, Cruz would (as long as he keeps the beard).
Ted Cruz is a massive neocon, and certainly no populist.

Cruz calling the election rigged on Jan 6, objecting to certifying the electoral votes
You can pick individual data points against anybody, but on balance he's the best we've got that has any chance of winning.
I disagree on how much appeal Cruz has. I'm not at all sure that he does better than a Josh Hawley, Mike Lee or a Rand Paul for that matter.
