Worshipping at the altar of diversity is off the charts. What if I hire a racially diverse writing team for a tv show, but they are all uber left and come from the same college indoctrination. They want to convince me that’s a good thing?

Yea, I’ve seen that. They get very defensive when you ask them to explain how that is diverse. Now for the writing room if I had people from different walks of life like some veterans, college students, some who grew up wealthy, poor, etc that would be better.

That’s true. Precisely why I rarely read or watch modern stuff. If you’ve seen one woke story, you’ve seen them all. The woman will be flawless and lectures about race and sex abound as well as the usual over represented lgbt groups. Very interesting to look at the life experience of sci-fi writers from the golden age or Tolkien. Now we have gender study weirdos who see everything through a lens of race/sex
I totally agree. I think having actual life experience lets writers craft more compelling stories.

A rainbow is diverse when the colors are separate. When the colors mix it all just turns in to one gross brown.
