In general, that's about the only time marxists get to claim a success, though, is it not?

At Burnet, we are helping to create the future of health, placing equity at the centre of what we do, and paying close attention to the effects of a rapidly changing climate and environment. We’re working for a future where diseases are eliminated, where mothers and children are thriving, where the world is better prepared for health challenges, and where those at risk are supported to reduce harms to their health.

Exactly what you'd expect from a group of morons who would put their names on such an absurd claim.

We’re working for a future where diseases are eliminated

Women managed to make cancer contagious with their rampant whoring, to say nothing of The Science™ purposely trying to make diseases worse through gain-of-function research.

"Mothers and children thriving". No mention of dad

So (as a HUWITE MALE) I can ignore the fuck out of you then. Thanks for the "heads-up"!

There was an LEO caused death semi near me last year. It made DC pass a law that gives LEO permission to view their body camera footage before they write their police reports. Of course they investigated, and also found themselves not guilty

Lie. They passed another law that gave them permission to lie more than they already legally lie. The bitches on this site prove how much they glow in the dark with their inability to see ignore ACAB.

Isn't it wonderful when you build models that already assume your policies worked without having to prove they actually work before using it to make epidemiological projections to ''prove'' you saved lives?

Maby compare to countries that didn't lockdown, over the course of several cycles, to test your hypothesis?

Over the course of the pandemic, the ''old demographic'' country which had the lowest excess mortality was Sweden.

No lockdown, no masks, schools open. All of the draconian policies totally failed, and caused more deaths.

The single exception potentially effective policy was total border closure ; something that has to be maintained forever otherwise you get hit with the same bugs and deaths as elsewhere when you open. The longer you closed, the more you get hit with all at once.

( And you'll still get the usual waves of already-existing viruses endemic to your country. )

And when a single migrant sneaks in while incubating a sniffles, all of that goes to shit.

The graphs of how the covid infection spread, the death rate, and recovery of every nation on this planet where covid data was readily available and reported, whether that nation did nothing at all or went into full mandatory vax and lockdown/tyranny mode, are almost all identical.

Doing NOTHING was the least harmful course of action, as all the drastic measures taken had little if any impact at all on the spread of the virus but impacted the populations of those shutdown nations tremendously across all aspects of that society.

But they're all calling themselves 'heroes".

Fucking hell. They did it for power and money. If there wasn't anything to gain from doing so, all the tyrants making their grab for power wouldn't have cared one bit about covid.

I caught Matt Taibbi guesthosting a podcast recently.

He opened the stream announcing he was feeling under the weather from COVID.

The comment section was full of honest-to-God unironic NPCs hoping he recovers quickly because they were still fretting in 2024 that the coof might kill their favorite host.

My only hope for the future of Australia is that the world will suffer the effects of marxism before us, as we're always a little bit isolated and behind current events. Alas we seem to be deep throating the marxist boot.

My hope for the future of australia is China invades and the occupation regime will be less oppressive than their current "democracy".

Honestly, it's hard to tell the difference, China seems to not be that repressive in the current day, just incompetent and not afraid to repeat bad decisions to try to get them to work.

If you assume, like Canada did in a published paper put on their disease control website, that COVID will kill quite literally everyone in the matter of a couple weeks, then of course it must have been the actions you did that stopped it from happening. It couldn't have been the clearly insane baseline data.
