I can't believe an actor would SIGN ON TO do Rings of Power after the flop it turned out to be. I'd have avoided it like the plague if I wasn't contractually stuck there like an Adam Driver in Star Wars situation.
Acting is one of the most oversaturated markets in the world with aspiring "talent" looking for any opportunity to get in front of a camera. It doesn't matter how shitty the project is, there will always be some desperate narcissist with dreams of being an A-lister ready to sign on for literal pennies.

How many millions or even billions did they spend on the rights to the annexes and on the first season alone? If they left it as-is, it'd officially be one of the greatest failures of all time. It will likely still be even with a second season, but they'll still attempt to save this shipwreck and delay the inevitable.
I would like to commend the Memesmith behind this creation for putting a distant echo effect on the voice when the perspective shifted to far away. Excellent attention to detail.

This is not an episodic series like Star Trek, it's 1 story over several episodes. It would not matter if they started doing the books justice moving forward. The first season was trash, nothing after that is worth anything.
I hope they double down on woke, I hope they bring some evil orange man, that you have some BLM messaging, more feminist tropes, more gay dialogue and worse writing. Let the normies finally see the leftist propaganda.
The number of people who watched the first episode of the first season was disappointing, and only a bit more than a third stayed to watch it all the way to the end. I expect the number of people watching this second season to be even lower than those who watched the first finale.
This will not change the opinion of most normies, because the vast majority of them are not watching this.
