No one who has actually had to be in California has believed California was anything but a shithole for at least a decade. The only people who did never went there and thought it was beach boys and Hollywood, not bum piss and drug addicts.
California is a beautiful state and what I mean by beautiful is the national forests, mountains, and the small towns in the northern portion. As for Los Angeles it is trash. The traffic is terrible, homeless run the streets, and crime is rampant. I should know because I use to have to drive through there daily. So if that is considered a “great American city” then I should be considered the greatest quarterback in all of NFL history.
It was cathartic to watch DeSantis destroy Newsom in the debate.
I lived in California for decades and under Newsom CA became unbearable to live in.
I will always hate Newsom for ruining my beautiful home state of California.

I supported Trump in 2016 and in 2020 while I was living in CA. Living in CA didn't lower my standards for anything.
I have always supported the candidate that I thought was the most anti-establishment candidate out of the ones running.
This time around, Trump is running like a complete leftist. He has bragged about his shitty Operation WarpSpeed, attacked pro-lifers, bragged about an endorsement from some BLM savage, promoted that tranny Bruce Jenner and constantly lied about various conservative politicians.
I see that DeSantis is being attacked by both the Trump cultists and being attacked by the establishment clowns who are all in for Nikki Haley.
Nikki Haley is certainly the WEF-lite candidate this time around.
I don't think DeSantis is perfect but I know he certainly ain't no WEF candidate.
DeSantis is too Zionist yet I still prefer him the most out of the candidates running.

Not sure of the right word, but basically it signals the intentions of the deep state and I know they're willing to do anything to get their way. Seeing these two slimy fucks debating each other is a reminder of what's to come.
I don't think DeSantis is slimy. I think he's just kind of weak and being used by establishment lizard people.
He's an absolutely terrible liar. You can tell he's uncomfortable on topics that he should be uncomfortable about (e.g. why the fuck are you wearing lifts?). Slimy people have no problem lying to your face.
I think he could have a redemption arc if he gets the fuck away from whoever is advising him right now.
You could say this might be a preliminary presidential debate, or even a meeting of the possible backups if Trump and/or Biden go down before the election.
Yeah that's basically what I mean. They know Biden is beyond repair. It's just a matter of when they swap him out and it seems clear that Newsome will be his replacement.
On the other side, we see they're trying to prevent Trump from running by any means necessary and if they're successful it'll be Ron who takes his place.
This is them setting the table for their preferred 2024 ballot and even though it's not surprising it's still unsettling to watch it play out.
I hate this rhetorical style. Not even because it's whiny, but because it makes no fucking sense. Presumably - theoretically - someone runs for president because they want to make the country better. Not being allowed to critique points of failure without being called anti-American or whatever is beyond stupid. California was a great state, LA was a great American city. But they're both shadows of their former selves, and that's completely on topic to bring up when you're trying to become the president.
