You think that's bad? My friend just recently had his League of Legends account permanently banned because he said "report jungle" at the end of the game.
The rationale for the ban was that telling people to report another player doesn't promote a positive safe environment to game in and is offensive. In the same game the jungle my friend said to report bad said "kill all Japanese people".
Honestly, chatting in gaming is dead. Gaming itself is dead.
Fragile minorities destroyed the idea of communicating in multiplayer games forever, you can't even use preset phrases or map pings without the risk of upsetting one and losing your account.
I had the word "niggles" censored from a Steam review, which ironically made the review seem way more offensive e.g. "this game has too any *******". Peak clown world.
Honestly the blame for this mostly lies with women, not minorities. Foreign nationals are very very aggro with chat and pings lol
Its why gamers will never respect women in gaming. They will always be harassed and be simped. But not respected.
In fairness, women are a minority in gaming. Not to mention the crossover in the venn diagram between "women who play non-casual games" and "women who complain about said games" is a miniscule sliver.
You can apply the logic of police ethics complaints to women. There's only a few bad apples, but they're empowered by the quiet support from the majority of the group.
chatting needs to be 100% independent from the stalins who run the companies.

Wtf? I play Smite occasionally, you'll get chat saying regularly to report someone just because they suck let alone trolls and feeders.
And good luck trying to detoxify LoL, you might as well take a fire axe to the server room as it's the sane result.
They promoted people to positions of power who don't know the first thing about video games.
