It's only a matter of time before the next generation of kids grows up thinking "fascism" means "strength, determination, and intelligence". What happens next I'll leave up to your imagination.

I firmly believe that AI is being used to train kids what to think. So I am always looking to see what it says about controversial topics (it never fails to disappoint). Here is what it said when I asked why many people do a Princess Bride with the with word 'Fascist'. (i.e "you use that word, i don't think it means what you think it means") ....

There is no definitive answer to why some people do not use the word fascist correctly anymore, but here are some possible reasons:

  • The word fascist has been used as a political insult or a rhetorical device to discredit or demonize opponents, especially those who are perceived as authoritarian, intolerant, or oppressive. This can dilute or distort the original meaning of the word, which refers to a specific historical and ideological phenomenon that emerged in the early 20th century in Europe and was characterized by a dictatorial leader, a centralized autocratic government, a cult of personality, a glorification of violence, a belief in a natural social hierarchy, a rejection of democracy and liberalism, and a strong nationalism that often involved racism and xenophobia¹²³.
  • The word fascist has been applied to a wide range of political movements, regimes, and groups that may share some similarities or influences with fascism, but also have significant differences or variations. For example, some scholars and commentators have used the terms neo-fascism, post-fascism, crypto-fascism, clerical fascism, eco-fascism, and radical right to describe contemporary phenomena that have fascist elements or tendencies, but also have distinct features or contexts that make them different from classical fascism¹² . This can create confusion or controversy over the definition and scope of the word fascist, and whether it is appropriate or accurate to use it in certain cases.
  • The word fascist has been challenged or contested by some of the people or groups who have been labeled as such, either by denying, rejecting, or redefining the term. For example, some of the original fascists, such as Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, did not always use or accept the word fascist to describe themselves or their ideologies, and sometimes preferred other terms, such as national socialism, corporatism, or fascism with a human face¹² . Similarly, some of the modern groups or individuals who have been accused of being fascists, such as white supremacists, neo-Nazis, or alt-right, may not identify or associate themselves with the word fascist, and may use alternative or euphemistic terms, such as white nationalism, identitarianism, or patriotism² . This can create ambiguity or inconsistency over the meaning and usage of the word fascist, and whether it reflects the self-understanding or the external perception of the people or groups involved..

Because they're faggots which makes sense since the symbol of fascism is also a bundle of sticks.

Umberto Eco got the ball rolling on leftists labeling all of their political opponents as fascists.

Goddamn tourists again..

It's not fascist, it's about the cylindrical nature of human history while being trapped in the repeating cycle wanting to break free from it. Eren said himself, he saw the past and the future all at once all the time and there was no way to escape what happened. Throughout it all he kept asking people just to see if there would be a different response so that he didn't need to go through with it but he never got it and we ended up with 80% of humanity wiped out.

Ironic, looking at the cycle of history as I'm seeing Weimar Germany a lot across the West..

Are we talking "fascism exists in it?" Or "it promotes fascism?" People are so retarded, they'll literally believe the former means the latter.

Early stuff in the video is all about fascism but he doesnt explain how he defines it at the beginning. And usually that just means the enemies of anti capitalists or pro open border people.

i mean, it shows the in-universe equivalent of jews genociding 80% of planet's population in pursuit of "freedom", and they don't want anyone showing their real-life goal yet, in fiction or not, so brand it strongest current -ism so normies don't even think of approaching it

I dont think Eldians were jews(though that is understandably the first thing people think of on the surface). They were allies with Hizuru which is basically Japan in the story, and they were being persecuted for what their ancestors did. That sounds more like German. The concentration camps is the only thing that looks jewish but Germans themselves also got sent to concentration camps after the war in real life as well.

There's also a bit of Japanese themselves mixed in with Eldian lore like the vow to renounce war and the island nation and the military junta government. Japanese also been sent to internment camps in America.

And Gabi's character represents the brainwashed self hating White/German person

Did you miss the part where the Eldians in the Marlean ghettos wore armbands with stars on them?

yeah, i guess Eldians could be seen more as Germans if there would've been no Hitler to rise them up from Weimar period

as for jewish thing another point is that Paradis is a reverse Madagascar, which was one of the places planned to deport all jews to after Lebensraum would be installed

No way I'm watching a 1 minute left alone over 1 hour video from some communist retard whining about a japanese cartoon for retards (SocitaticMethod save me from your muh precious anime talks), however I must admit, if you check out the rest of the videos he has on his cesspool channel, impressively enough, this one isn't the peak of his retardation.

I hate to say the dude is right, and I’m sure the creator is on record walking it back somewhere, but if you’re being honest the main takeaway does seem to be that life is hard and you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to. The Marleyans are justified, and the eldians are at this point too, and at the end of the day it’s all on who got more shit done first. The whole theme was hard as fuck and I’d hate to see it diminished because we’re afraid to validate the lame opinions of some weak dude on YouTube. Like Gabi isn’t what she is for no reason and she absolutely embodies the spirit of the show imo. Definitely not traditional fascism of course, but it absolutely meets the modern definition of “things my dad thinks are cool” or whatever.

Haha and fucking Floch?! Dude was sick.
