YouTube said it had suspended the monetization of Brand’s channel for “violating our Creator Responsibility policy,” adding that the action was in order to “protect” its users. “If a creator’s off-platform behaviour harms our users, employees or ecosystem, we take action,” said a YouTube spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Cardi B admitted to drugging and robbing men, never demonetized, Riley Reid admitted to raping a guy in a movie theater, never demonetized.

Maybe that's the problem. Did Brand admit to raping anyone? No? Admitting rape is wholesome, not admitting it is harmful. Easy.

It’s only wholesome when you’re a strong independent woman who gargles semen for a career

Or if you are Roman Polansky. Or any number of troons.

Everyone knows anally raping a drugged up 14 year old is very “European” 😂

What YouTube is doing should be illegal. The media platform where the Terms of Service are made up and the rules don't matter. (oh wait that's all of them) They still get 230 protections though.

I think Ted Cruz needs to write a strongly worded letter threatening to take away their 230

She raped a dude in a theater? Also, Brand seems to be turning into the new Alex Jones with all the bans

Yep, she even admitted he said no and was uncomfortable the entire time. Then said, “but you knew you loved it”. I’m sure you could imagine what would have happened if the roles were reversed…

Wow!!! Don’t even have to go that far. Imagine if some nerdy guy kissed a hot woman on the cheek.

Demonetization on YouTube always was about one of three things:

  1. Protecting them from liability
  2. Keeping advertisers happy
  3. Enforcing certain political views

Nothing more. Nothing less.

YouTube constantly cucking to the establishment despite the fact they have enough media share to pimp slap them all with zero consequence...

This doesn't feel like it's working though, sure he's being demonetisied, lost an agent (but who cares as agents are getting increasingly unneeded nowadays) and book deals are suspended but unless there's a drop in his viewing figures, seems like they don't have anything to get rid of him for good.

I'm actually encouraged seeing some of the support for him shown that this may be another step in getting the metoo shit to die fully and get to a stage of telling women to 'grow up and be responsible for your actions'

Women can't be responsible for their actions. The soft reality they already live in has most of them plagued with anxiety, depression, and a hair trigger cry response.

Anything more and they will start to break down on a level that will attract every man's primal instincts to rush to their side.

We really need to turn that instinct off, leave it on for children and pets but women should fend for themselves for a few years.

We don't even need to do anything, the complete opposite do nothing and watch if they sink or swim.

turn that instinct off

Sadly you can't really turn it off. The only way it would work would be for the men who have a modicum of self-control to rule the world with an iron fist and keep the others in line. Even that order would eventually turn against itself unless the "don't be a simp" rule was etched in stone like a commandment and maintained through religious devotion.

Yeah, unless we get that drug from Equilibrium we're stuck with it and only those with self control can at least temper it.

Alternatively segregate the SIMPs away at the municipality level. No need for top-down malfeasance.

If we were capable of turning instinct off, we could simply be purely logical utopian bound beings. Its why the tabula rasa belief and the communist ideals that the Left constantly pushes it doomed to fail, because its against human instinct.

We can't beat them, they adjust our behavior on a level before it even reaches our active thought and influence those thoughts on top of it. We can only build around them.

It's a Google subsidiary. They are the establishment.

YouTube constantly cucking to the establishment despite the fact they have enough media share to pimp slap them all with zero consequence...

I suspect terrorist organizations like the CIA and the deep state Bureaucracy hold even more power than we suspect. Even though they shouldn't, I think these companies fear the government.

Which is not to give them a pass for their wokeness or cowardice. But they know they need to go along to get along.

I mean, look at what they're trying to do to Elon Musk for daring to slightly buck the trend, and censor a tad less than what they'd like. I wonder how much money he's lost overall. They locked him into overpaying for Twitter initially, they meddled with his various unrelated companies, and he's being hit with lawsuits left, right, and center.

Again, YouTube should in theory (and principle) be able to tell the establishment to fuck off, and do whatever - legal - things they want regardless of what anyone thinks. They'd also ideally have people in charge who wanted to do those things. But in our current system neither of those is true.

I equate YouTube, even if it's just a division of Google, as having the body of an alpha male but the mind of a cuck. Like it has EVERYTHING needed to easily make money and have the power to cowtow to no-one but is too scared of the establishment and/or too willing to please them.

They can easily pay off any deep state actor to not even bother with them than be their bitch it's just pathetic.

Perhaps, perhaps not. It's hard to judge just how much power the establishment has. Hell, they've killed people for less than what you (and I) would love YouTube to do. Which isn't even getting into just how infiltrated all these companies are with feds. Hell, plenty of them are founded by feds. CIA have slush funds to build American companies.

So to go with your analogy, it's a soy brain in an alpha male body...but the body has explosives strapped to it, that can be remotely detonated by fedbois.

They can easily pay off any deep state actor to not even bother with them...

I think you are underestimating both the power and the viciousness of these people. Again, they've killed people for going against them in small ways. There's plenty of stories of them doing that in various fields they want to control, telecommunications being a big one. According to some, if you try to start a cell company, men in suits will show up to give you a nice warm welcome to the industry, and you play ball or are ruined...one way or another. The deep state or whatever you want to call it, want to control all networks of information, and will go to great lengths to accomplish that.

I like to call it the “google-youtube monopoly”

The Sherman anti-trust act of 1908 makes it illegal to use your monopoly in one industry (search) to exploit customers in another industry (video)

Note how no one seriously tries to go after Carl Benjamin any more. Know why? He is completely independent of all the usual services.

Also his channels are demontised, and a lot of their content is shadowbanned. He's effectively a toothless tiger in the eyes of the establishment. Russell Brand still occasionally appears on talk shows, prime time television, and has an expanding reach, whereas Carl's reach has mostly peaked and he's entirely reliant on crowdfunding to sustain his ventures.

Benjamin is also a nobody who completely and humiliatingly failed in his bid for MP. Sad to say, but the left is done with him because he's been thoroughly crushed.
