Liberty Safe (aka Bud Light Locks) was sold in 2021 to an East Coast investment firm. FEC reports show ~$400,000 over the last 10 cycles of max donations to Democrats like Raphael Warnock & John Fetterman. Its current CEO donated $4,600 to Obama for America. (twitter.com)

At this point, companies should be required to publically post in a public, easily-accessible manner all donations made, publically or privately, by any executives. Front page on their company website.

Nowadays I care more about that information than I do the fucking health department scores in a restaurant.

Why? Are you really so eager to be just like the faggots who refuse to go to Chik-Fil-A because it’s “hate chicken”?

Yes, wanting information about the political leanings of a company that I am depending on to keep my private property safe from a political entity is the exact same as being mad about being anti-buttsex.

It's not as though roughly everything you could want to know about a company's inclination towards ratting you out to the feds would be discernible from which feds they bootlick.

Even Chik-fil-A's so-called "donation" was the late S. Truett Cathy's PRIVATE donation, using his own money, to known fag-bashers and hate group, The Salvation Army.

Liberty Safe's parent company used COMPANY FUNDS to donate to the fucking Democrats.

If you actually get them in a conversation about it 10/10 times they'll eventually mention how they went there on Sunday and it was closed and how terrible that was. This is their true source of hate, they just won't come out and say it.

Yes, they're that petty and anti-worker they must have their sandwich made for them on Sunday or they throw down.

Chick-Fil-A bent the knee to the crazy woke crowd a while back. Fuck them and the chicken's they rode in on.

Including to this information is that apparently all their safes have a master code that CAN'T be overridden by the customer

What's the point in buying a safe from a company if there's a code that makes it easier to open than ethots legs?

The bigger question is, how many companies do the same thing?

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the answer to that question is "All of them".

Most of the digital and analog locking mechanisms are made by the same two companies. One of them is https://securamsys.com/safelocks/standalone-safe-lock/ and I forget the other.

At this point you'd be better off buying a safe without the locking mechanism and seeing if there are CAD designs for making your own. It's really just a mechanism to unlock the main big bolt that holds the safe shut.

Most if not all but in an ironic twist, Apple are more likely to keep your data safe as they've repeatedly told the feds to fuck off if they don't have a court order when they wanted someone's data.

I'm not sure if I buy that, but even if it's true, it's still Apple and I'm heterosexual. My data is kept safe by LUKS on local hard drives.

It's recorded as a fact, I may think that Apple is overpriced and overhyped for what it is but when they got more balls stand up to the feds on behalf of their customers than a gun safe company, how batshit crazy is the world's current moral compass!?

Apple will cave to court orders, exactly what Liberty Safes did. Where's the outrage against the government for issuing these bullshit warrants in the first place?

Not a lawyer, but what I'm hearing from my more legally knowledgeable sources, is that while they were permitted to search the property, Liberty weren't forced to give them the master code which effectively means they can get into every safe they made.

This also was over Jan 6 too, so they weren't raiding a terrorist or a pedo, just a guy around the capital at a certain time.

I heard that Liberty Safe was served a warrant for the code, if that's not true then yeah they just rolled over. If it is, then they were legally obligated to turn it over.

Why aren't people as mad at the government over this? Why are they pulling this shit in the first place?

Where's the outrage against the government for issuing these bullshit warrants in the first place?

Why are you deflecting from clearly reprehensible actions by private actors?

Nobody is saying that the government's overreach is acceptable, but talking about it is just another day that ends with Y, as opposed to the unique circumstances of this case.

The unique circumstances of this case are that the government is prosecuting people for nothing and a company complied with a legal document even though people don't think they should have.

Liberty Safe isn't exactly squeaky clean here, but holy shit nobody is talking about the overreach.

Sure would be a shame if that master code got leaked...

Also: This means that basically all of their safes are compromised by design. You can neither be sure that your posessions are safe from being stolen nor can you be sure that nobody is able to plant incriminating things into it. And you wouldn't even notice it.

There's absolutely no reason to have a master-key for your safes from a buisness-POV, actually it's detrimental to your buisness. If someone was dumb enough to lose their keys, you have them find their own way to access their posessions and sell them a new safe afterwards.

Seems at this point. 99% leaning/conservative/liberty orientated business or politicians are grifters, controlled opposition or snakes. The 1% that are true, like trump, get screwed over or obstructed by that 99%.

We are pretty fucked. Most left/commies are dedicated and mostly unified under an umbrella of woke shit.

Normal people need to take a leaf out of the "progressives" playbook and start researching companies before we give them money.

Places like https://www.cancelthiscompany.com/ are a good start but I don't know how stale or slanted they are.

I guess you have to start pulling corporate records and crossreferencing the names with FEC donation records for every single thing you buy now.

If the big tech cabal wasn't... a cabal, there'd be an app for that.
