It's not any army I'm concerned about. It's their economic warfare. Of course the EU and US will immediately put economic sanctions against France in order to get the country on its knees. That is why the situation would need to get more desperate.

But the French army still has some of the deep patriotism and elan vitale that once made France great. It's not going to stand by as the country spins into oblivion.
