You guys don't know France. It's just a bunch of stereotypes and insults based on the Iraq War opposition and World War II - which had nothing to do with French courage and everything with disastrous leadership leading to the main French armies being enveloped, which necessitated an armistice.
If this continues, the military will probably depose Macron and impose martial law, like the letter of the generals warned. The French military does not tolerate civilian governments that create chaos, and it's not wokeified like the US or British military. Just yesterday, the main police union sent a clear warning to the government.
Are you French? The French army has actually pulled off coups d'etat in living memory - unfortunately what they got was De Gaulle.
The army has the support of the people, the police. Who will defend the government? All that's needed is to kick in the door and the whole structure will come crashing down.
Note that I don't expect this to happen because the government will likely get control over the streets fairly quickly. The result of this will be to further embitter the French against immigration and the government, rather than an American-style 'racial reckoning' surrender (ironic innit).
Be realistic, if the French army started kicking down doors and putting politicians in general what do you think would happen? The EU is going to clamp down on France hard and the EU have regularly fantasised about setting up their own EU army.
It's not any army I'm concerned about. It's their economic warfare. Of course the EU and US will immediately put economic sanctions against France in order to get the country on its knees. That is why the situation would need to get more desperate.
It would provide the perfect excuse, even if something does happen, other EU member states are going to intervene
I'm not worried about that at all. They would lose and it would result in the destruction of the EU. The EU has no centralized army, and has no prospect of creating any in the near term. It would have to rely on member states, who will have every incentive to pass the bucket, and even if they didn't, I expect they'd get crushed by the French army and francs tireurs.
Yes, France has a history of revolutions, but you as well as others severely underestimate how utterly pussy whipped the west is especially their men.
No, I see it daily. It is not just that, the modern state is much stronger than at any time in the past.
But the French army still has some of the deep patriotism and elan vitale that once made France great. It's not going to stand by as the country spins into oblivion. And the mere fact that the vast majority of French back the army is a very good sign. This may be cope, but man cannot live without hope.
This is why I have no problem planning to get the fuck out of the west as this is exact scenario I've been predicting.
I don't have any hope that things will go right in the end either. Where can we go though?
I didn't mean it like that. It's not "just wait a few weeks and they'll do it". It's "if unrest persists and the government is unable to calm the situation, they'll do it."

Yeah. I'll believe it when I see it

Doubtful. Nobody in France has the balls anymore.
LOL
That sounds as dumb as the qtard "trust the plan" copy and onetruephiloraptors desantis wank. Wait 2 more weeks is a cope
