Orthodox Jews tend to vote GOP but they are a small portion of the American Jewish population.

You should never trust Jews unless they are what I would call the "Kahanist types".

I would personally avoid talking about Jews too much as a politician because of RAMPANT regressive leftist corruption in the population that is suspected to have had origins in ethnic nepotism.

It's not to pander to jews, but to pander to Christians. A huge chunk of Christians in the US love Israel and think it's our duty to be their best friend. It's still mega cringe, but I don't think this is for American jews at all.

I think that's only part of it. Yes, Evangelicals are big into supporting Israel, but there is also a fact that the Israeli Right-Wing are quickly becoming political enemies of the Globalist Left. Israel's theocratic right-wing is not co-operating with the Leftist factions, and is seeking to damage them at an institutional level, while the Leftists try every trick in the book to keep the right from power (even through judicial corruption and fake movements).

"Pandering to jews and christians" is un-nuanced. Currently, there are a slew of progressive christians that are in favor of Drag Queen Story Hour and Black Jesus (See the Anglican Church), and the Pope is a Liberation Theologist.

We need to talk about which jews and christians. Trump supports the Nettenyahu right-wing coalition, which have a hard emphasis on making sure Israel exists for the benefit of religious jews. The Democrats get lots of support from progressive American and European jews & financiers that are more philosophically based in Zionism (a secular, progressive, nationalist, jewish state) that would be fucking purged from Israel if they were forced to adhere to jewish religious doctrine; even to the point of losing their citizenship.

Most evangelicals I know who believe in Israel also want Megiddo to have a big war. If I remember correctly, it's a bunch of suburban housing at the moment with giant sheep fields around. But Armageddon must happen, and they look forward to it.

Which is one of the many reasons I hate Evangelicals for being fucking retarded.

Armageddon is not something to look forward to, you numpties.

It's a child-like mentality that their authoritarianism fosters. Kind of like how you will get seriously confused Christian kids who say they want to die so they can go to heaven.

No no no no no.

Yeah, I've had to dig out my "Jew v. Jew" book a few times in my arguments on this forum with certain ConsumeProduct fans. The current political crisis in Israel is a big indicator of how the Leftists intend to try and defeat the right in purging the Judiciary. I'm not a fan of some parts of the Judcial legislation, but they are basically trying to over-throw the government with violent street protests after having already previously ousted Netenyahu (and failing to keep him back out).

Expect the lessons from Israel to be applied to the US even in the event that Trump wins.

Israel's political crisis stems from the contradictions between liberalism and Israel's status as an ethnic, collectivist, blood and soil nationalist state. The ideas are inherently contradictory, and Jews have always been playing with fire in promoting liberalism to enable their stranglehold on power in nations where they are a diaspora.

▲ 1 ▼
– Gizortnik 1 point 3 years ago +1 / -0

You're close. It's a contradictions between the progressive nationalist state (which is the blood & soil part) and the theocratic state (which, like most abrahamic religions, is illiberal anyway).

No one's actually arguing for Liberalism here. Just Race/National Socialism on the Left, and Theocracy on the right.

Jews have only promoted liberalism because plenty of them were intellectuals in western Europe and America, where Liberalism exists. By the time there became a real opportunity for creating a jewish state, Liberalism had basically been defeated and subverted, so the calls were for Zionists on the Left, and Theocrats on the right.

The theocrats are also blood and soil nationalists because Judaism is a blood and soil nationalist religion. The religious Jews are just also attached to metaphysical superstitions and various aesthetic religious traditions. These aren't the major inflection points of conflict, though. It's that the courts, in accordance with liberal minoritarianism, are more protective of Israel's gentiles minorities and sometimes oppose things like settlement expansion.

The J-left doesn't usually conflict over religious aesthetics. The ADL, for example, helped rebuff Iceland's attempts to ban circumcision. The left-right divide among Jews primarily flares up over the right's higher tendency towards illiberalism. In many cases, the conflict revolves around optics anyhow.

Jews began heavily promoting liberalism post-WWII. They were instrumental in the Civil Rights movement, sexual revolution, New Left, etc. They did that because liberalism is a great vehicle for promoting minority - which obviously includes Jewish - interests. It was especially useful for preventing anudah shoa. Jews study the rise of fascism a ton after it happened and were obsessed with preventing it from happening again. They recognized that liberalizing whites by weaponizing American's foundational logic would be useful in that. A liberalized white population is a political impotent one.

I think you are trying to claim liberalism has been defeated because you yourself are a lib and can't admit that liberalism has made things horrible in the West. You therefore externalize blame. In reality, liberalism has peaked in recent years. As we've discussed in the past, nearly 100% of Americans held deeply racist, illiberal beliefs prior to the 1960s. The 60s made things worse because they made things more liberal, and Jews were a huge part of that.

To be honest Philosoraptor, this seems like some next level pandering on your part.

It seems like you're already pandering to the ConPro crowd who already don't like "Zion Don". While also pretending that Ron DeSantis didn't just pass that freedom of expression violating law in Israel.

Look, everybody here knows that Israel has undue influence on the American government. Everybody here also knows that rich, politically active, American & European Leftist jews dump millions into both parties. Everybody here also knows that politicians fucking pander to them for that money.

Lessening Israel's influence on the US is not on the table on the right, lessening Israeli rightist's influence on the US is not on the table on the right, lessening Leftist jewish influence on the US is not on the table on the left, not forgiving Israeli sovereign loans is not on the table, cutting "foreign aid" to Israel is not on the table. It might be cool if literally anyone was proposing that, but literally no one is.

Apparently defending yourself against accusations of anti-Semitism by making the factual statement of, "we did a bunch of stuff for Israel and, in fact, our family is full of Jews" is "pandering" if you have TDS.

The only mistake he made was responding to accusations of anti-Semitism with anything more than an eye-roll in the first place.

Honestly yes, but part of me wonders if the few rich, jewish, donor class that does donate to Republicans might be hypersensitive to those accusations, the same way blacks are conditioned by Leftists to be hyper-sensitive to allegations of racism.

The correct answer is absolutely: "Shut the fuck up you fucking idiot", but some denial might be expected.

It's lack of options plus censorship. Anyone who could be elected President is going to suck Israel's dick, and critique of Jewish power is the most taboo subject in politics so it's hard to build lasting resistance.

Have some shame if you're gonna go around sperging about other people being cultists.

Three things...

  1. Real Neo Nazis aren't pro Trump. That association started with anons to smear his candidacy as soon as he announced. However just like the God Emperor Trump meme, it took on a life of its own and Internet edgelords of all stripes unironically jumped on the MAGA train and became his keyboard warriors when they saw that the guy wasn't like any other fake candidate before.

  2. To the extent that some "neo nazis" supported him, one reason is the machismo or "I don't give a shit" attitude with Trump. He's the anti-PC candidate. The same energy that attracts people to strong-man dictators over Rule By Committee caused disaffected young men to gravitate towards Trump. It's the same style that people like Ted Cruz, Matt Walsh, and Ron DeSantis copied once they saw how effective it was.

  3. Trump does not go out of his way attack neo nazis. He doesn't attack anyone except "the radical Left", celebrities, the media, and politicians like "crazy Nancy". It's one of his distinctions - call it a strength or weakness, he wants to be loved by all Americans. The closest he's come is denouncing White Supremacy when asked for the 50th time by Chris Wallace to do so, and saying "there's bad people on both sides". Meanwhile DeSantis or at least his allies announced out of nowhere they're going to kick those evil anti-Semites out of Florida. (???)

I'm not a neo-nazi or even a counter-semite, and I'm equally disappointed in both candidates. These are just my observations.

▲ 7 ▼

why are the neo nazis so pro trump?

In my experience they aren't. Where are these supposedly pro orange man neo nazis? From what I've seen they call him "Zion Don" and say he's trying to MIGA (Make Israel Great Again).

I have a feeling these people you are calling neo nazis are merely people who are critical of Israel or who are critical of the overall influence of Jews on the US, not actual neo nazis.

Why?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– Bouldabassed 4 points 3 years ago +4 / -0

Setting aside whether or not that's true, likely because orange man and DeSantis are seen as being relatively similar on that issue. So it is a big red X for both of them there, but there aren't exactly any candidates in the fray at the moment who get a green circle on that issue.

Pro orange man compared to who? Regardless, I'm not sure what about it is hypocritical. Do you see them praising Trump for his stances on and towards Israel? Or is the implication that generally supporting a candidate who you strongly disagree with on one issue makes you a hypocrite? Because if you agree with any politician 100% on everything, that is probably an issue.

Like him or hate him, orange man has broad appeal as the candidate perceived as being anti PC, anti establishment, anti military industrial complex, anti deep state, etc. I'm not here to get into a debate on whether those perceptions are true or false, that's just what the perception is for many. As such, it isnt hypocritical to support orange man for these reasons even if one dislikes his stances on Israel.

To the extent any White Nationalist type is supportive of anyone in the GOP, it's either going to be a "lesser of two evils" situation or hoping for disrupting politics and increasing the radicalization of White Americans.
