A team of economists studying a large pool of lottery players in Sweden found that when men win the lottery, they become a lot likelier than demographically similar lottery losers to get married (if they were lower-income and unmarried before their win), and they have more children. On its face, that supports the work-life-balance idea. But when women win the lottery, the only big change in their behavior is divorce: Divorce rates for women almost double in the first couple of years after winning the lottery.

Did they just unironically admit female hypergamy?

Men seem to use their newfound resources to build families, while women use them to exit families.

This seems like an inversion of common stereotypes about men and women. But reality is never so simple.

Bahahahahaha. They were so close.

No, it fits completely with the 'stereotypes' embraced by the 'manosphere' that that the mainstream insists are 'misogynistic'.

Women see men primarily as sources of income.

Daddy government won't you save me from this oppressive institution where a man who works all day to keep me and my children warm and dry expects me to cook his dinner when he gets home!

Daddy government won't you take more money from men to pay my bills and feed my children now that I'm free of that awful marriage thing.

Daddy government won't you make the men I slept with pay me child support at the same time you take their money and use it to pay me child support.

Daddy government I'm kinda lonely and Netflix isn't fun anymore. Will you take some of that money you're taking from all those men to support me and use it to bribe them to take care of me?

I can't tell which one this is more a result of:

Women going 'it's the men's fault I'm not marrying' and taking steps to essentially blackmail to commit

Women are realising that a LARGE amount of their most active activists are about to hit the wall at the same time soon and their cries of regret may hurt their cause as much as detransistioners.

If western society just collectively poured cold water on women and admitted they aren't worth as much as they self value like they do with men, it'd do more to heal society than anything else.

Society used to do that. That is why fathers paid men dowries to marry their daughters.

I don't see a future for me where a marriage lacks a prenuptial protecting my pre-marriage assets.

Pre-nups mean fuck all these days when a judge strikes it down for being "signed under duress"/coercion or some similar bullshit reason.

We have become so woke we have gone full circle and are bringing back (tax payer funded) dowries.

Wow, that was a hell of a read, all to basically be the answer to the question in final jeopardy: "What is a prenuptial agreement"

Haha, in the suggested articles there’s one about a woman whining “Dear therapist…” about how she feels bad for not showing her dying husband the love he deserved. She couldn’t even wait until he kicked the bucket to start putting herself first I guess. LOLOLOL but also, DAMN!
