I lived in Hawaii for a while. This is a common problem. There's a reason why guys like me skipped the last day of school. It's called Kill a Haole Day. The Poly all laugh and say it's a joke, we still skipped the day. This has been festering for a long time, and the tourists basically being told the locals are brain dead and love serving the tourists doesn't help. The tourist organization also blocks any major company or investment outside of tourism, so jobs are scarce.
If you want to really be pissed off, look up the McDonald's next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It used to be awesome. Now it's a McDonald's with small Polynesian coverings. So it feels like the culture is being stamped out except to show off for tourists.
So, if you're white, it will take years to be accepted. If you're Asian or Brown, you're already accepted. Heck, the first question asked is, where you from. I always said Germany and Scotland. The American accent was forgiven because of that.

6 and a half, 4 and 2 months. I have no basis for comparison, but this seems decent. Hell of a long wait for the trial, though.
I don't think regressives have really pushed Hawaiians as a victim group much as far as I know. The only thing I've seen is trying to loop them in with Asians under an "Asian American Pacific Islander" acronym, which is fairly new to me. And we know currently that Asians are white-adjacent, so Islanders might not fare well in the stack yet.

They produce virtually nothing and they have next to no industry, and courtesy of blindly voting democrat nearly 100% of the time, they're taxed to hell on top of the enormous markups on goods due to needing to be shipped thousands of miles out of the way.
