This is where we're at now, then? This is an actual movie. Cool... Well at least it's "original", I guss!

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, the dumb bitch behind that Charlie's Angels reboot a few years back who insisted the movie wasn't for men, then said men were sexist for not watching it. (Nobody watched it, though.)
I dom't know what the color purple is. But a woke gay black high school teacher of mine made us listen to the music so it must have something to do with gays or blacks. It's funny there was controversy over that and I was so unaware at the time to talk shit about it. I just thought it was shitty.music didnt realize I could have fun and probably get expelled over it.
Originally I thought I might see it but now that I know Banks is behind it I'll avoid it.
This looked interesting due to being one of Ray Liotta’s final films. Directed by Banks killed that interest.
She also hosts the new Press Your Luck.
While there was a perfectly fine Todd Newton still alive.
From what I heard, it's loosely based on a true story. Some drugs were tossed from a plane, a bear ate them and rather than go on a spree like on here it just wandered into a near by residence, acted crazy then died due to overdose.
Trailer doesn't seem to take it seriously so it might be a good joke film like Sharknado
Probably about as true as Bert Kreisher’s Russian mob story.
It's not my jam, so I haven't really paid attention to it.
Looks largely like "horror comedy", much like Shaun of the Dead or similar (or various other examples)...
I won't pay to watch it, but eh, if I was on a plane or something, I guess I might switch it on, lol...
That's how I watched The Last Jedi. I was a captive audience. Still felt like my time had been wasted.
I did that for that years as a slave film as only way I could watch it, it wasn't bad but it's one of those films that I wouldn't pay to see.
I'll agree to that.
Shaun of the Dead is good.
Edgar wright does excellent visual comedy. The transitions, the absurdities, the jokes.
I very much doubt it rises to 'shaun of the dead' levels of quality. Yes it's a play on dawn of the dead and so is a 'horror comedy', but it's actually good and effort weht into it, it's not just one of thousands 'lol randum' 'heres a reference' 'heres a dumb monster' bullshit 'horror comedy'
Oh god, I just found the trailer. This is actually hilarious. Iffy on the execution based on the trailer, but still hilarious.
Since everyone else is hogging the link to the trailer like it's the holy grail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuWEEKeJLMI
I was thinking of linking it, but was reluctant to straight up advertise it. Also figured it was easy enough for people to search for.
Yeah, I watched it too, in the end (after you said this)...
Terrible, but hilarious.
The Universal Pictures page for the trailer includes an in-site game, lol. Haven't bothered with that yet, though.
Here's the link to said game and trailer page, if someone wants that (as Lurker pointed out): https://www.universalpictures.com.au/micro/cocaine-bear
This looks like a movie poster you'd see in Postal 2
"A film based on the true story of the real origin of the term 'a bear market', in cinemas this Friday"
I am infinitely more likely to watch this someday than marxist reboots, capeshit etc
It's a great idea but the trailer didn't really make me laugh
The movie will never be as funny as the fact that this actually did happen.
One step away from 'ow my balls'
*I guess.
And yeah, it's probably already out in the US, I imagine, but I haven't seen it mentioned literally anywhere, including here, lol...
I haven't heard of the "true story", but apparently there is one... So that's fun. I can only imagine what "went down"...
Also, the tagline for the posters is "Get in line"...
Oh man, I thought "Blood and Honey" was as low as this year would go in this genre, but I guess not (arguably)... Ah well. Not my thing, obviously...
