Translation: Kyle's parents where ACTUAL parents that provided Kyle the skills to not be a victim unlike Hollywood parents that teach their kids how to suck better...

And even if not self defense skills, gun safety is very important to teach to kids in any environment where guns are present.

"Son, there may come a day where I won't be able to shoot these pedophiles for you. You'll have to learn how to shoot them yourself."

libs: omg this word "grooming" is being used against us! we hates it!

also libs: let's start blatantly misusing the word to try to claim it for ourselves. LOL so smurt! let's call teaching kids the pledge of allegiance grooming! LOL marx would b so proud.

The pledge of allegiance has socialist origins, so Marx's only issue with it would likely be that it's a national pledge (and that God was added later.)

This, teaching kids to blindly follow any government is bad.

The entire Greatest Generation's most monumental failure was thinking the government was a collaborative project that existed to benefit everyone.

It's not. It's a weapon only to be wielded at actual enemies, and should never be pointed up-range.

Just because one of the original authors of what would become the pledge, Bellamy, was a socialist, that does not mean he controlled the message or that the Pledge served his purposes.

Besides, he likely wasn't even the originator:

An alternative theory is that the pledge was submitted to an 1890 patriotic competition in The Youth's Companion by a 13-year-old Kansas schoolboy, coincidentally named Frank E. Bellamy. Fred R. Shapiro regards Popik's discovery as favouring Frank E. Bellamy rather than Francis Bellamy as the originator.

Modern leftists hate the pledge and hate American exceptionalism and American nationalism.

The Pledge was also changed several times, including adding "under God" which the atheistic Left hates so much.

Grooming is supposed to make it easier for pedophiles to assault them.

Kyle's firearms training literally did the opposite.

Not only that, it stopped pedophiles from assaulting others.

Rittenhouse shot at his intended targets, hit no bystanders, and disengaged when the threat stopped (even when one of them feigned surrender). He carried himself better than cops with "proper training" did, and at 17 years old.

He missed only once. He missed a black life-long criminal who stopped on his head, thus inadvertently depriving the media of an anti-black narrative.

Even when he missed, he still got a hit.

"Jumpkick man" is a good start for finding out if someone was actually following the Rittenhouse case closely or just taking whatever the MSM fed them. The latter is especially obvious if they actually thought he was guilty.

The Left think that teaching kids how to be responsible is "grooming" because they believe that responsibility is an ideological construct.

Fundamentally, I think that the Left can't imagine how to teach kids morals and values without teaching them ideology. For the most part, it can be done by educating your kids on experience and tradition (terroristically conservative), rather than starting with ideological precepts and working forwards.

There may be a limit to this, as teaching kids a religion will likely imbue them with a form of ideology if you are not careful about how you teach religion. Obedience to religious doctrine without allowing them to learn about the theology itself is closer to grooming, rather than a proper religious education.

everyone should know the basics of gun safety, and did, before poison like you showed up in society.

Either public schools should teach children gun safety, or public schools should be abolished.

One or the other.

The leftoids are trying to redefine what "grooming" means because they are unable to do anything else.

One of the things I hate most about these leftist shitstains, is how they deliberately pretend they don't know what words or phrases mean and then purposefully misuse them. Like when they tried to equate cancelling subscriptions with companies to cancel culture. It's a favorite tactic of communists and probably as old as communism itself.
