Those are all not just gone, but demonized, there is no value in the modern career unless you are doing something intrinsically purposeful. What’s hilarious is this is going to be a “women most affected” story when the free money men were throwing at them dries up.
I hate those things. They're everything that's wrong with the modern world marketing toys to adults rather than children:
They're ugly, and often unrecognizable as the character they're meant to represent without the label on the packaging
There's like a thousand of them, so someone would have to spend a fortune to collect them all. I think they have a bunch of exclusives too.
they've blended "universes" into incomprehensibility. "You like Spider-Man? How would you like Superman done in the same style? Now how about Seinfeld and that guy in the background from the Office?"
Its funny, because very early on when they were less streamlined, they had some pretty cool ones. Because instead of having a recognizable "brand" shape, they had all the necessary details to recognize the character itself. The D.Va for example built the entire mech with no "Funko" parts in the slightest, just a solid figurine. The only way you even know is because the tiny D.Va inside is Funko'd.
Now they are so rushing out to have every single character in existence they can't spend time beyond a paint job, and you'd never guess who half of them were without the box telling you.
That's about all that's propping me up most days. That and the knowledge that at some point there might be the opportunity to at least have a meaningful death in the future.
People are retarded, most women are cheap whores (and the ones that aren't are taken). And vice versa, for women, most men are soyboys and/or checked out.
You're hated by most people, simply for existing. Facts don't matter anymore. Having a work ethic, or wanting to be positive, is demonized. Society is circling the drain, and nobody cares.
Hobbies we used to love are turned to cancer because nobody gate kept hard enough.
No, it's really not worth it. But here we are anyway.
If you want to have a nice wife & children you can do that. Is it hard? Yes, but it's possible.
If you want to fuck as many women as possible and enjoy yourself? That is also possible.
Want to live your life in solitude and enjoy either mundance stuff (hunting, crafting, ...) or technical stuff (automation, technology, ...) it's possible.
Do you want to contribute to your local community / society in general without having children then you can do so too.
If you want to play video games almost all day and watch shit on netflix that is also an option.
Imp, I love you bro (no homo), but you gotta do the math on that one a bit more. Had a friend in finance who broke it down for me as more or less a gamble. Yes, if you get a messy divorce you are going to possibly lose value/money/sanity/etc in the future, but there are real tax incentives to being married and that money can compound over time.
Does it balance out the potential future loss? Well that all depends. Just like an insurance agent, you need to factor in the risk factors for the individual. Its not a 100%, but like any numbers game you can come out ahead. Hell, I have known folks who got married and the wife's family bought them a home. Even in a divorce scenario they still win.
I think the real issue is that men need to be taught that love is an emotional thing, but marriage is a financial and legal transaction and should be treated as such.
Half the argument for gays to get married is because there is a literal tangible monetary gain in being married because of taxes and insurance and lots of other legal shit.
That's ignoring the thousands of years where marriage was, at its most cynical, a completely free houseslave to homemake while you worked.
Reasons men had to work:
Marriage and family
Job growth based off performance
Purposefulness
Building a shared culture and values
Those are all not just gone, but demonized, there is no value in the modern career unless you are doing something intrinsically purposeful. What’s hilarious is this is going to be a “women most affected” story when the free money men were throwing at them dries up.
You don't find fulfillment in working to buy more FUNKO POPS?

They're soulless dolls, each one a carbon copy of each other one, except for their outfits. 100% image 0% personality
Those things piss me off. I have a few figures but funko pops aren't even esthetically pleasing. It genuinely confounds me why anyone would like them.

Every day I wake up and wonder whether or not life is actually worth living anymore.
If nothing else, continue to live out of spite.
That's about all that's propping me up most days. That and the knowledge that at some point there might be the opportunity to at least have a meaningful death in the future.
Let's do the math.

*wipes vodka off face*
Yup.
Oh cool same.
No one gives a fuck.
If you want to have a nice wife & children you can do that. Is it hard? Yes, but it's possible.

Oh bullshit, nobody ever saw value in marriage, they did it to avoid going to hell.
It was slight hyperbole, but not much.
Marriage propagated purely through the threat of eternal damnation.
Almost everything you say is significant hyperbole, you just happen to ardently believe the things you say.
Not everyone is of Roman-Catholic believe. And even then “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Read Proverbs 31.
Glad you are back, guy.
