Elon is taking the center-left position. The far-right position is to parade Fauci and hundreds, if not thousands, of other officials through town while men with hot tongs tear off chunks before they are drawn and quartered for mass torture and murder.
I don't like his "enlightened centrist" schtick, but he's doing a great job at moving the Overton Window back towards reality.
AA isn't actually capable of pulling off framing himself as a centrist—he's already slipped back to "billions must die"—but everyone has their own role to play, and there are effective ways to adjust the framing that is both a truer reflection of reality and politically advantageous.

I guess that's what happens when people are upset that you're biological weapon research, that DARPA fucking denied you for being too reckless, gets out and your primary objective is not only to cover up your criminal involvement, but to mass suspend Americans 4th Amendment rights through executive fiat, and the complete closure of their first amendment rights by censoring their speech and criminalizing their protest to your mass incarceration.

Also, this is rich coming from the people who spent the last seven years trying to jail a presidential candidate/president/ex-president. And successfully jailing or otherwise punishing plenty of people in Orange Man's circle. Are leftists, liberals, Democrats, and journalists all far-right conservatives or...?
They're certainly the authoritarians/fascists: Look who is weaponizing the legal system. Look who is actually prosecuting people, as opposed to just wishing it would happen. Look who is jailing their political opponents en masse. And they want nothing more than to ramp those efforts up even more.
But, sure, thinking admitted liar Fauci should be held accountable is beyond the pale. Over the line. Unacceptable. Fascistic.
That or obviously "public health officials" are above the law. Only far-right extremists disagree.

I'd love that. Honestly, I think Google and Apple don't get talked about enough. For all the censorship individual social media platforms do, the distributors like Google Play and the Apple Store are probably doing even more to stifle online discussion, since competitors to the mainstream social media - said competitors are already fighting a massive uphill battle against entrenched giants - are not getting a fair shake. Apple and Google will literally ban any actual free speech platform from 90%+ of the market, because free speech violates their terms of service.
