Brazil is a multi-ethnic country, whereas Canuckstan is a multi-ethnic country (aside from the Anglo-Franco divide) chiefly through mass immigration of the last forty years.
Canuckstan is also a rich western country and most likely recruits foreigners just to play for their team. Brazil recruits from its own population (or so I'm assuming.)
