I can only name about 5 best western animated shows in my mind barring the 3 long-running animation. Batman TAS is to me a pinnacle of western animation.
Possibly. But he kept his personal life outta the role aside that the dual life he lived helped him understand the role. He didn't try to turn Batman gay
If anyone wants the artbook of Batman: TAS, can find it here. Yes it is that site but it is genuine. For some reason people upload dark horse artbooks here.
Probably the greatest thing about the Animated series is that it really showed that Batman was a dark character, but a heart of gold. Bruce Wayne was basically the only person that tried to actually help the people in his Rouge's Gallery. Absolutely ferocious as an enemy, but the greatest ally you could ever have as a friend.
I think the portrayal of Batman has gotten worse over the years as a more brooding almost inhuman character, nearing closer to anti-hero than true hero.
What made Batman truly great as a hero was that he could always face the darkest parts of the humanity and still help people.
He died with the batman (its a few years after knight but you get the idea)
At least now he won't be reduced to "reference" in some woke satire
When I was in grade 3, two of my favorite things were playing SNES and watching Batman TAS, such a sad loss for 90's kids...
R.I.P Kevin
fuck, what a legend. rip
I heard. Batman The Animated Series was an amazing show

Gargoyles is in there, but the animation has aged a bit.
You heard right
Damn, this hurts.
F
Says he died of cancer and he's gay...prostate cancer?
Sad but predictable.

And I was already having a bad day....

Word is the TAS cast did a Costume Shoot back in the day. Never seen pics of it.
Nooooo.
The only proper send-off

I enjoy some of the darker takes on Batman, but I agree that The Animated Series is the definitive take on the character.
I nominate David Hayter for the next game.
The only Solid Snake.
Outspoken liberal. Probably won't do it unless the project is woke. Hard pass.
Ugh, say it ain’t so 🤦🏼
Wasn’t aware he’s another raging lib. I withdraw my nomination in that case. Maybe Kevin Sorbo?
