Amazon Studios Boss Jennifer Salke Admits To Censoring 'The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power' Reviews Over "Points Of View ...
Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke confirmed what many critics suspected that Amazon was censoring reviews that the company disagreed with.
I'm very happy on how Rings of Power is doing, in terms of casting, acting and most important, burning Amazons money. I hope they make the 5 seasons they promised and I hope they increase the budget.
I know Amazon has almost infinite money but I doubt anyone would forget a show that is probably going to have a loss in the terms of half a billion.
And then we can get to mock them on the loss of money and how many people it could have helped.
While all the actors, staff, producers go crying to the bank, and wipe their tears with green toilet paper. Then spread their vicious success to their next gen trust fund weirdos.
Explains why we are in 🤡🌏
Hold on, buddy, let me dispense a whitepill. That money was spend paying a lot of people for a lot of associated jobs. Those people will spend that earned money on unrelated everyday expenses, turning it into revenue for others according to consumer market choices. In this sense, RoP has succeeded in redistributing capital wealth out of Amazon's hands and into the general population. People often ignore this benefit from failing capital ventures when thinking of market natural selection. It's all good.
That is depressing to think about
The boss being a woman explains so much of their output.
I assume you already knew about it. It had the same vibes as Star Wars, you did not even have to google it and you could tell it is going to be a white, entitled, privileged, bitch behind it.
She literally canned the Conan the Barbarian series they had in pre-production and went ahead with that awful Wheel of Time show instead.
Woke Conan the barbarian is so expected its no fun. Why not defile a series the geeks weren't expecting?
I never saw it. But yes, you can nearly always tell when a woman has created something.
There's a certain...malice to it.
What a cohencidence.
Jewess.
What a coincidence indeed. Every time someone criticizes women, you people show up with "muh Joos".
Now that's an interesting coincidence. I wonder why.
By "someone" you mean "I", because you're just about the only one who criticizes "women" as a whole with any regularity.
And apparently the ones you post are Jewish women, if "Every time someone criticizes women," you get "muh Joos" comments.
Turns out you were the misogynistic anti-Semite all along if you somehow never bother to post criticisms of non-Jewish women.
At this point are the media cheerleaders even still cheerleading? A few episodes back when they did the episode with the inexplicably stupid origin story for mithril (why does a fucking metal even need an origin story) the articles were along the lines of "uh, this sure is a thing."
Hack writers think everything needs backstory and people won't understand or get it unless everything is explained to them in minute detail.
The Hobbit:
The dwarves dug deep down and found this rock. It's really shiny, so the king really liked it. One of a kind. Named the Arkenstone. Because it's arcane. And a stone. Got it? Good.
RoP:
20 minutes about trees and... soul captures of demons or something? The explanation was so muddled I've forgotten. And yet I do remember that they never explain WHY their plan to get all the magic rocks will work. Will they eat them? Is there a spell to move souls from rocks to elves? Why would that exist?
OMG, did they really just steal ghost rock from Deadlands?
No, the hell you say. She's the cunt who hired all these diversity pets and spent millions on cannes documentaries for 'prestige', forget that they were merely vanity projects and garbage.
It's Ok, Jennifer Salke. We all know it sucks [insert details as to why, yourself*]. Even if you silence us saying so. One billion$uck, in fact.
It's better than Ok, Jennifer Salke. It's hillarious: your massive fat bloated failure. THAT is the actual show.
* most easily done -probably- by just listing your favorite things about the production...
I wouldn't even pirate it. My time is too precious.
It's mine. My own. My precious.
It's more of an ANTI ring-of-power. Not precious at all, but vile and horrible and of less worth than a yawn. A production so bad that it saps goodness from whatever it comes near. All shall ignore it and not care.
Nice they go be her so many credits to things happening because she was around and didn't have a direct contributions to.
They killed the pilots program where they'd accept show pitches after they hired her on. Killed The Tick.
