Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke confirmed what many critics suspected that Amazon was censoring reviews that the company disagreed with.
At this point are the media cheerleaders even still cheerleading? A few episodes back when they did the episode with the inexplicably stupid origin story for mithril (why does a fucking metal even need an origin story) the articles were along the lines of "uh, this sure is a thing."
Hack writers think everything needs backstory and people won't understand or get it unless everything is explained to them in minute detail.
