The guy who yesterday posted the video of the Little Mermaid unblacked was just swiftly banned from twitter, but the one who made the AI to do it - now that's something I didn't see yet on this platform (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

Hilarious that they banned him. I do wonder if he is going to actually do it. I find it hard to believe that it is that easy to do.

He can do it. If he can do a few seconds he can do a couple hours. Stable Diffusion is open source and runs on a desktop. He's got the code and trained the model. No one can stop him.

Source that he used stable diffusion?

I do use SD for fun, but no way I can reproduce results like he did

edit: my request for "source" could be changed to "tutorial" ;) Show us how to do this with sd

I forget where I saw him talk about it - sorry the past few days have been a blur. IIRC he had a homegrown tool using stable diffusion as an engine to do it. I'll see if I can find the source.

It's not easy, but it's a well-understood process and straightforward. The more experienced he is with the tools the easier it will be.

He can post it as a torrent as long as he makes sure to be anonymous. This days is not hard to hide your online identity if you want to.

Best case scenario, his version becomes the one with the most seeds and people download it without realizing it is not the official release.

as long as he makes sure to be anonymous.

Announcing that you were the one who did it on a platform that demands a phone number is not being anonymous.

The only way forward would be to release the tools used to do it and instructions, and wait for someone else to do it (or give him plausible deniability when doing it himself).

You can be relatively anon on Twitter with a burner. Twitter won't know who you are. Someone might be able to track you.

Last time I tried, though, Google voice and such were blocked. You have to actually go buy a burner. I did so with cash at a big box store.

IMO, this falls under fair use. Consider it a remix.

Like RiffTrax for video but as a content patch.

Very similar to

Game Genie

Game Shark

Action Replay

ClearPlay

and Rom Hacking.
