Leftists always claim their perverse books are banned when they are removed from mandatory lists and from school libraries.
Bitch, they are not. That is not banning.
Is it just gay stuff, or does it also include copies of Song of the South (yes, I know, it's a movie, but as far as being outright banned goes, this is your crown prince right here) and Huck Finn? Or pretty much anything "cancelled" by the left? Or is "cancelling" somehow not the same as "banning"?
You're thinking too small. Put out a giant Holocaust denial display and talk about how the books could get you put in jail in many first world countries.
Turner Dairies day, spotlighting this misunderstood book often disliked for it's revolutionary nature.
I would love to see a display with Songs from the South, and an explanation on why it was made and who benefited. Then a look at why people tried to stop it.
It's mostly Gay stuff, some racist stuff, and The Hunger Games.
I mean, look, teen literature is bad, that's why Hunger Games should be banned from libraries, but I don't really know why one of the single most popular kids books is there.
The real question is why hasn't this resulted in immediate firing, and referral to police for displaying sexually explicit material where it knows children will see them?
Banned books? So are we talking about things like The Prince or Huckleberry Finn that were banned at different times or just a general discussion of censorship done by the church and state

Doesn't really sound too severe but I wonder if she would fight the banning of books like to kill a mockingbird... I kind of doubt it personally, call it a hunch.
My local school district got in trouble last year for "censoring". Turns out, the "censoring" was removing the Twilight and Fifty Shades of Gray series from an elementary library.
Meanwhile, the ALA is totes cool with removing To Kill a Mockingbird, Mark Twain, and Dr. Seuss.
