Basically, 'communities of color' are those that they can weaponize against a nation. Which is why Asians are white now. Sorry, I don't make the rules, and besides, 1/3 didn't vote for Biden.

Oddly, though, I live in a place with lots of Poles and more than a few Hungarians (or descendants thereof), and my own family did not know what Slavic meant, despite my dating not one but two Polish-descendant women in the last decade…
So clearly even here people do not see those two things as being “one and the same”…
I think both women would find this whole “POC” thing, in the US, completely absurd, though, frankly…

By definition and genetics Hungarians are Slavic, same as Albanians. Slavs are categorized to cover the majority of Eastern Europe by race.

The Slavic region is basically the baltics up to and including Poland, east west wise the Czech were the western edge while the khaganate was the eastern edge. This of course got blurred over time but is a general idea of the Slavic area.
To be fair I wouldn’t expect most people to actually know the breadth of the slavic race, between slavery and communism the ethnic culture is mostly forgotten.

Putting the question of what "parity" even means here aside, is this really a surprise? Western European immigrants aren't allowed in unless they're highly educated professionals who must jump through hoops to get here. Of course the average refugee (or economic "refugee") isn't going to have "parity" with that.

I don’t get as many chances ever since I graduated, However make people look up sclavus, the term for “slave” came from this root Latin/ Byzantine word for Slavs. Before that most slaves were called Servus or servulus, which turned to serf.
