And here I foolishly thought the defining characteristic of "people of color" was, you know, the color of the people. Not historical hardship.

Also, guess I'm also a POC now, having Irish ancestors.

No no, see us people of color need the overthrow the white man, then we will be safe from oppression, just like how my ancestors lived peacefully with the Muslim caliphates that mass enslaved them!
