The biggest threat to US security is the progressive Left in this country who have been busy infiltrating and silently purging our armed forces of strong patriotic men and replacing them with women, LGBTQAIP+, soyboys and anyone willing to keep their mouth shut and head down so they can keep their jobs.

When the time comes to deploy nuclear weapons, does anyone really think your average lesbian or soyboy has the grit and fortitude required to turn that key? Especially a woke progressive who thinks America is the actual enemy?

The USA is technologically and militarily leaps ahead of everyone else, including Russia and China, but this does us no good if the people actually responsible for defending the country are delusional self-loathing progressives.

Non-nuclear hypersonic warheads mounted on ICBMs could even strike high-value civilian targets in the U.S. like Boeing’s huge Everett, Washington factory.

No they couldn't. Do this, and China's entire command structure dies in nuclear fire. The United States would be pleasantly surprised afterwards when they discover the ICBMs they'd been hit with were non-nuclear, but they wouldn't wait to find out.

Yeah, as if American subs located off the coast of China wouldn't immediately glass the entire mainland the moment they received notice of ICBMs being launched.

Half of China would be a dirty glass parking lot in 30 minutes.

I don't think you understand that any notice of ICBMs being launched will end in hellfire for the entire planet. The USA will immediately order nukes on as much of China's populace and Command centers.

Nuclear deterrence works. The US doesn't need to win a war with China, it simply needs to convince China that the costs of going to war exceed the benefits. What we need is a clear and unambiguous list of "red line" actions that will result in immediate, irreversible nuclear war. As long as China believes we will follow through, it won't do anything on the list.

The trick is in showing resolve and convincing them that we will burn it all down if they step over the line. The Biden administration certainly doesn't have the balls to do this.

Deterrence from physical warfare only currently. China has no problem being caught spying, stealing, poisoning, or really doing anything other than full on warfare. Our academic, media and political class run cover for everything else.

On the topic of shitting and posting, there must be two types of people or something, those who shit quick and those who are slow. I never spend a long enough time shitting to post anything.

Just watch China start declaring certain foreign port cities their colonies because of all the dual-citizenship nationals who live there. Chancouver and Richmond will likely be first to go.

In all discussions of China's military capability they assume 100% effectiveness at all times and maintenance of 100% of these capabilities through the war.

It's not going to be as bad as predicted A) because other countries get to have a vote and B) tests never translate to practice at a 1 to 1 ratio.

Having the capability to do something does not mean it can be done.

I don't think China will respond militarily for the single reason that they don't have too, they are winning without using force so far.

If you want more proof of this, look at the war in Ukraine right now. Russia is getting its shit pushed in, all of its “game changing” weapons are either nonexistent or a joke, and their true capabilities are shown to be even more of a joke.

And this is against a country they actually share a border with. Naval invasions are the single most difficult military operation to perform. And you expect me to believe China, who lost the last war they fought since they went Commie, can do it? While facing down the objectively superior US and Japanese navy, as well as Taiwans extensive anti-ship mission and not insignificant navy? Don’t make me laugh.

Much like with Russia, I don’t fear their military. I fear their subversion. And even that is starting to fail as China’s economy is beginning to falter.
