They probably do get death threats. People are rightly angry and are prone to saying stupid things in anger. And I'm going to stop there as my urge to fedpost is intensifying.
Cool story, they're still absolutely pieces of shit that are fine with destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of people under the idea of "health concerns".
I don't give a fuck about their safety, politicians should be afraid. Reminds them that their job is (supposed to be, but often isn't) reliant upon the people, not on their own whims.
Or even real, I bet its nineteen strongly worded dressing downs that are only a hate crime because he hates it, with one poorly typed badly phrased threat warranting only the most minor concerns. These are the guys who broadcast the freedom convoy doxxing talking about threats?
Given how easy the Internet has made it for the masses to contact politicians and celebrities, and the sheer number of unhinged weirdos and idiots, of course they've received death threats.
If Mister Rogers were alive and streaming on Twitch today, he'd probably get death threats from perverts wanting closeup shots of Henrietta Pussycat's feet.
The question is, are the threats credible?
The answer is "probably not," but law enforcement will still need to waste their time investigating, to make sure they don't let the next John Hinckley Jr. slip through.
I forgot to mention: Of course they're crying about death threats to distract from valid criticism.

Probably a good thing he's dead, then. He was, by all appearances, too good for this world.
Given the rhetoric of the liberals and NDP over the past 2 years, as well as the bullshit they have subjected the country to, I don't have the smallest shred of sympathy.
If there were a string of magic words you could say over the phone to have authorities go to someone's home, drag them out, and lock them up with no proof and without listening to their side of the story, for the rest of their lives, most liberals would put telemarketers to shame with how many calls a day they could pull off.
(This is not a challenge. Post no examples or ideas, for safety reasons.)

That's every month so they've got that covered.
Frankly politicians should be afraid. Their actions warrant a far stronger response than has been put forth thus far.
I agree. We need a unibomber who targets elected officials.
At what level of tyranny is that stuff considered justifiable?
We blew past that mile marker years ago.
I think the more pertinent question is when does popular opinion shift to see this stuff as justifiable.
It has been since the beginning. They just conditioned you to think it wasn't acceptable to protect themselves.
Bear in mind, this is Canada, so, legally, "none".
Not sure you even have a right to self-defence in the same fashion an American would recognise it.

Leave the good bois alone. They did nothing wrong.
Plot twist: it's actually her husband dressed for pup play.

I'm glad Carl Sagan and Fred Rogers didn't live long enough to become villains the way Neil Degrasse Tyson and Bill Nye did.
Imagine Carl Sagan saying "billions and billions… of genders" and Mister Rogers introducing Pea Nussy the Drag Queen, and despair.
I thought that Sagan was big on being an edgy atheist?
Atheist yes, edgy... not so much. He was very hippy dippy about it. "We are all made of stardust" type.
He was big on ACTUAL science, not The Science™
All I've ever heard from the people who knew him is that the Fred Rogers you saw on TV was 100% genuinely who he was.
I remember the secret service said the vast majority of murders are NOT pre-announced.
But MPs are a lot like Jussie Smollett- they enjoy fabricating hoax crimes to incite racial hatred for political profit.
The left has demonstrated that death threats are okay when they're against people I don't like, let them live by their rules.
I hope so.
The things going on in Canada are abominable.

Pretty sure they mixed up the pronouns there...

Much like the slut who got herself raped and needed an abortion, a small occurrence is used to justify the overreaction.
Maybe quit doing shit your constituents want to kill you over. Just a thought.
