<current year> has killed my enthusiasm for any media. At best, I'll wait until something is released, customer reviews are in, several months have passed and it's on sale at least 66+%. I've been disappointed far too many times to care: marketing switcharoos, microtransactions, cut content resold as DLC, insulting players, etc etc. I don't even keep up with what's being released any more and I can't remember the last time I purchased a game for myself.
Infinity killed what of my love of Halo that survived Spartan Ops and Halo 5. Hard to imagine what they can show that I'll like. Maybe, since SF6 is on Xbox finally, we'll get a second character reveal after Guile? Probably too early to announce any ActiBliz IPs since that acquisition is still in the early stages. Some Japanese games?
Expecting lots of woke pander-y shit. I wonder how many chair-spins / volume mutes I'll have to get through it, or if I'll abandon it before the end. Your move, MS.
Riot collaboration, all characters unlocked in League, Valorant, lots of cards in Runeterra. Fun stuff.
New Forza looks excellent, Flight Sim gets helicopters and the Halo Pelican (brilliant). Hotwheels collab in Horizon, seems fitting but seems like we already did this once. Forza is a definite for me, the rest just looks decent.
Scorn is a creepy, Giger-style, shooter(?), with a bangin doom-style soundtrack. I like it muchly. Cocoon is a minimalist puzzle platformer that looks fun.
Finally a new Team Ninja game on Xbox: Wu Long. Looks good, but no gameplay yet. Atlus is porting Persona 3, 4, and 5. Very happy about this. Kojima pre-announces an Xbox collaboration on a brand new game. All in all, good news on the Japanese front.
Big Diablo 4 presentation. Until MS makes a show of going through Acti-Bliz's headquarters with a flamethrower, this is tainted goods. No thanks.
Tons of time reserved for Todd Howard to fellate himself on-screen. Starfield looks... sharp but dated. Bullets have no impact... whole game looks like same old Bethesda but now with super-sampling. Flight mechanics shown, and they're arcade rather than space sim. In a word, "ok, sure."
Skimmed through it. I guess I might play that Wo Long game, at least it didn't make me not want to. Persona escaping from Sony platforms may end up being a blow to them, particular if it's popular enough for whatever sequel to come to Xbox. I also hate pretty much all Western character design now. I've actually enjoyed FH5 way more than I expected, but that's mainly from not playing alone. It's way more hang out and chill time than serious racing for me. Hot Wheels expansion doesn't really interest me but I'll get it if friends do. So hell, more than I was expecting but that's a result of setting the bar so low.
Loved the silksong announcement even though was already spoiled. Persona 5 coming to xbox is also cool. Little surprised no street fighter or cuphead action. Some stuff I really liked, some meh. Starfield looks boring. That Kojima guy doesn't do it for me either
Pentiment game from obsidian looks surprisingly interesting. I have some hopes for it despite losing my faith in obsidian.
Starfield may be good but it may end up being shit, the story buildup in the trailer was kind of unmotivating so I have little hope for the story but the rest seemed kind of cool. If the story ends up forgettable and non-woke and the gameplay and discovery elements end up being good then it will exceed my expectations.
Nothing else seemed even remotely interesting. Diablo 4 looks outdated as fuck and their best feature is character customization.
but he’s fighting the exploitive militaristic pharmaceutical company
I'm sorry, comrade, but depicting a philanthropic pharmaceutical company as the bad guys is highly problematic in our current climate. The Ministry of Disinformation really can't endorse messaging which could add fuel to the fire for antivaxx extremists. I'm sure you didn't mean anything by this, but let's try to be better.
Perhaps the antagonists could be a tribe of bald pygmies who fanatically believe in alternative treatments and hate modern science? The game could start with them crashing Larry Croft's Drag Queen Equestrianism Show (hosted at a nursery) and stealing all the horse medicine.
I understand why they scheduled the showcase for June now.
This shit it totally gay.
Super gay.
Allow me to choose another word than gay then.
Soy filled gaming substitute.
Redfall.
Current mood: Meh
During showcase: Meh
After showcase: ... [inhales] UBER-MEH!

Post-show:
No Halo, I'm shocked.

amusing, considering the long awaited starfield footage looks like fucking death stranding. With a terrible frame rate and bad enemy a.i.

God of War ripoff with the strong dyke JoggerWhamen.
Why do you care about this gay shit, imp?
Yeah, that's pretty much the only reason to watch all of the rest.

Did they show Elder Scrolls 6?
Good grief! I'll be retired by the time Elder Scrolls 6 comes out
meh I'm playing fallout new vegas
