These are the people that invade your hobbies.

I'd go further: the only people that complain about gatekeeping are the people it's good to keep out.
There's almost always no other barrier than "liking the thing and participating", and even if a community wants to keep out certain types of people, you can just make your own community to enjoy it with like-minded individuals. Otherwise, it's just selfish "grass is greener" and "I want what you have because you have it and I don't" thinking.
Save it? The current lice that has infested the Blizzard bloated corpse are going to make Overgay 2 their throne of rot before the company dissolves into nothing. This is going to be the last thing Blixxard produces before joining Microsoft and the name being shelved; akin to EA’s “Backyard Shed” business model.
Oh, I'm not sure if you saw all of the hot water their "esports" scene is in right now but it's incredibly hilarious. They've had to delay their card game's season and are probably going to cancel it after a bunch of their players were caught doing pretty standard leftie stuff, grooming and cheating on their spouses, with one even being accused of domestic abuse and threatening to leave her dead in a ditch if she told anyone. If they go out of business, overwatch2 will be the least of the reasons.
“Normalize”is another word I would like to never read or hear again because of these morons
if you have to "normalize" something that isn't normal already, there's probably a good reason it's not normal.
good point. we could use a few roaming hangin' judges like the good ol' days.
I hate it. I just want scale a vector so that no value is greater than 1.0, and instead I end up with a bunch of tranny faggots parading in my brain.
As a some-time World of Tanks player I wholeheartedly agree!
"I like gay porn of this, so I count as a fan" - annoying feminist young women.
I mean, I like TF2 media and fanworks and watching people play and talk about it, even though I'm not a fan of playing FPSs.
Of course, I also recognize that I'm a tertiary fan at best and have no place in dictating how the game should be played or patched.
Spot on. If someone tells you they're a fan, but wants to change what they're supposedly a fan of, then they're not a fan- they are lying to you.
Re-Normalize gatekeeping people who look funny or have weird sexual fetishes.
Remember when you were told to stop questioning females on whether they were real fans? Remember when they insisted 'fake geek girls' weren't a thing?
Remember that shit?
"tHe CaKe Is A lIe! Lol, im so quirky guys, and I play vidya games too"
Yeah I remember that back from 2007.
I also remember the first iPhone also from 2007 which gave normies their first taste of the internet, and they ruined it forever.
Wow, so I'm a fan of Mad Men just because I like to jack it to Christina Hendricks, huh?
Interesting. I've never watched a single episode. Just looping gifs of her fat ass and tits.
The special hell.
"We demand you have more troon and gay representation in video games."
"Ok, done. Will you buy these games now?"
"What? No, we dont play video games or buy them"
I can see this being an improvement for things leftism tanked, like LotR and Marvel stuff. And Superman. I think he’s gay now? And weird? Let fans take it back and make him American as fuck like he used to be. Have that one throw the shitty one into the sun.
I’d be fine if we undid all the expansions to copyright we made and opened all that up to the public domain. 50 years for the creator to profit’s not that bad. Most superheroes have been around forever, as has LotR and stuff like that. It should be public domain.
So they like the idea of being a fan of something?
So many "fans" out there, mugs with harry potter and some quirky star wars cheap plastic on their desk, t-shirt with some game they've never played. They know nothing about any franchise apart from memes they've read online.
"people"?
This is the exact definition of a fangirl.
Liking FIM fanart does not make me a brony, their argument is invalid.
Uhhhhhhh
You know what? Go for it. Hell, why are you gatekeeping against people who don't like the fan depictions but may be fans of things LIKE the media and so are neither proven nor disproven to be fans? Gatekeeper!?!
How would I know if people were invading my hobbies? I don't see how I'd even know that was a thing.
