Also keep in mind that almost no one is going to say "They're fucking up this adaptation, don't watch it" because they fear of the bridges being burned. This is also why you don't see actors ever condemning the shitty movies they're in until long after the movie has had its run in the theaters.
Luckily I was never invested in this IP. I learned about it from the movies and I was reading Malazan Book of the Fallen at the time, is hard to go from that to a teenage drama with greek gods adapted to modern days.

Five, but none of them are terribly long from what I can remember (It's been a long time). The first series is called Percy and the Olympians BTW.
