Merryday’s injunction is “an extraordinary intrusion upon the inner workings of the military” and has essentially left the Navy short a warship, according to a Feb. 28 filing by the government.
Hmmmm, if only there was a simple, easy thing the government could do to get the ship deployable again. Something that would cost literally nothing and take about 2 seconds to do.
Navy officials declined to comment on the case or identify the commander or the ship he leads, but court records show the commander works for Capt. Frank Brandon, the commodore of the Norfolk-based Destroyer Squadron 26.
Let's Go Captain Brandon? More cracks in clown world simulation are showing.
Hard not to laugh a bit at all the people who thought "getting the vaccine" meant "keeping their jobs" only to find out that "keeping their jobs" actually means "getting deployed overseas to fight a war against Russia".
Surely all the people discharged for refusing it are now lining up to get it...
I saw a screenshot of a tweet last week where some blue check was calling to "draft the unvaccinated" for their war. Too stupid to realize they just threw people out who were there voluntarily for that very same thing.
The constant is "make them suffer". The people who wanted to be in the military are made to suffer by not being there. The people who don't are made to suffer by being there.
And of course if you're drafting someone against their will you can probably inject them against their will too.
I don't claim to entirely understand it. But what I do understand is that the "educated" Professional Managerial Class that runs our technocracy at worst hates normal people and at best sees them as uneducated hicks to be guided like cattle. And see themselves as the cattle-herders.
Another thing to consider: you remember ~10 years ago how both Russia Man and Florida Man were mocked in about the same way and for the same reasons? You see how ruthlessly violent the PMC shitlibs are now talking towards even ordinary Russians? Not a coincidence, and you even see them start to talk about Florida's politics in the same sort of way as they do Russia's
The word of the King Clown is King. This supercedes all other commandments.
No matter how unrelated, participate in every circus that comes to town. If the circus is actively hostile to anyone, that doesn't matter. Perform for every tent, every show, even if the show is the "I hate you and your kind specifically" show.
Clowns go in importance based on their makeup. The darker the makeup, the more important the clown, and you may not put on makeup darker than yourself, unless you're King Clown.
That "importance" is a key part of the act. The whole point, why it is funny, is that is doesn't matter, and your actions must highlight that it doesn't actually matter to the audience. They must see that you follow a code, but also that the code is just clowning around, to create absurdist humor.
Irony is a core part of being a clown, and humor in general. In literary analysis, irony can be coincidental misfortune, but it also can be simple contradicton: Lies are a form of literary irony, and you should use them as much as possible.
The circus can only pay so many clowns. Take down any clowns not clownly enough to deserve pay.
And finally...
At the end of the day, it's all an act. Once the clown makeup comes off, forget all about it and do whatever the hell you were going to do anyways. Disney censors its own LGBT messaging in China, Vidya developers make sure to never include any rainbows in the middle-east, COVID fearmongers go to densely packed restaurants to share drinks mask-free, communists run off to their multi-million-dollar mansions built by near-slave-labor, it's all good.
Until not long ago, I was under the illusion that the military were all about efficiency, and that shit like this wouldn't fly in the armed forces. Like they would be one of the last places infected by all this craziness. I was wrong.
Yeah, I've never served, and was admittedly quite naive about the inner workings of the military. It wasn't until my best friend decided to apply to be a navy officer at the age of 30 that I got to know how stupid things can get in the armed forces.
Imagine your workplace. Now imagine the HR department. Imagine if said HR department had complete authority over your life.
Not just when and where you get to work but also when and where you get to eat, shit, take a leak, what you're allowed to say, think, do, etc. and if they felt like it they could demand that you go die on their behalf. Feels like a shit job? Well sorry, your next chance to quit will come up in 3 years and until then you're here by force of law.
Oh and they also have their own HR police to enforce those decisions against you, with penalties up to and including death.
if you are too stupid to realize the vax is a bad idea, then you are not qualified to command your own body, much less a combat unit or vessel.
but at this point the us military motto should be 'looking for a few good chumps.'
except for the secret police and psy war on the american public, those guys have to suspect everyone of being hitler all the time, so they leave no stone unturned unless it belongs to china or israel.
I used to not believe in the "we live in a simulation" theory. Now I'm pretty sure that not only are we in a simulation, but it's being run by the kind of kid that locks Sims in a small room with no toilet.
Hmmmm, if only there was a simple, easy thing the government could do to get the ship deployable again. Something that would cost literally nothing and take about 2 seconds to do.
Yea, it's not the CO that's keeping the ship from deploying.
Let's Go Captain Brandon? More cracks in clown world simulation are showing.

Friend/Enemy distinction.
They want to hurt their enemies(read: all of us) and reward their friends. It's that simple.

Requiring officers to be university graduates was a mistake.
It made sense when universities actually taught things like critical thinking.
Tell me you've never served without telling me you've never served.
Which, I suppose, is arguably the correct decision so not trying to knock you at all.

More of a "go for a swim and remove the ladder" thing, really.
All I know is, I WANT TO GET OFF Mr. Bones Wild Ride.
Sailors have traditionally been more open to getting stabbed with pricks in a way that spreads HIV.
Oh they do. They let them know who obeys and who to target.
Good.
Every CO everywhere should not take the COVID vaccine, it will lead to world peace.
on further news, the destroyer has reportedly sunk, on account of the CO refusing to deball himself.
I'm sure Captain Brandon must be really sad now that he doesn't get to go die for globohomo.
