Wow. I have nothing to say to this except that I am done. This country is done. I'm out. >>Alex Hawke, the Australian Minister for Immigration, has cancelled Novak Djokovic's Australian visa "on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so." Democracy is dead. (twitter.com)

I mean if they remove the "al" from it you could argue that'd be a more appropriate name.

Your country died the moment you gave up your guns and now you have no recourse to correct the totalitarian state you now live in.

lmao this is what democracy always was. You fell for the con because the vacuous, high minded ideals sounded good. "Hurr durr rule of the people" what the fuck does that even mean? Ruled by random fuckwit from down the street? And that is supposed to be better than being ruled by a king, invested in the future and raised from birth for this role?

And that is supposed to be better than being ruled by a king, invested in the future and raised from birth for this role?

While I agree with you in principle, the issue is when people raised from birth for this role are the Rothchilds, Rockerfellers and those groomed by the Fabien Society.

Sure, but these people are products of late stage enlightenment, entirely materialist, and pure reason. They seemed to have devolved into a lunatic transhumanist cult that desperately wants to become gods themselves or at least immortal. They have no connection or desire to recognize anything transcendental or something akin to divine order or the chain of being. They view people as neurons in the global consciousness, a cell inside a larger organism to which they are the brain.

Probably a student visa. Europe. There's a course I applied to a few years ago, and got knocked back by the Immigration Department in that country (I'm not gonna specify which, yet, lol)...

For course reasons. Not because of anything I did. The course provider assured me, last time I spoke to them, that things had materially changed, in the years since.

So... Apply for that. If I get knocked back again - WHV. Probably Poland. That gives me two years out of this nightmare "country". Then go from there...

That's my current thinking, anyway. Right now? I just want to fuck this place up as much as I can.

No more complying. No more playing their games. No more woke "sportsball". No more news. That's it. I'm done.

Anywhere in the EU is almost as bad, look at what's been going on over there. Also remember that in a lengthy tussle with the EU the Poles finally agreed with the EU's demand to dissolve their own sovereign supreme court. Not a good sign.

Iceland? Uruguay? Georgia? Mexico?

Even Serbia looks more "democratic" than Australia, after this decision, and that's just... Mental.

Australia has completely lost the plot, now.

That's right, you want to avoid EU countries, they're practically the worst when it comes to vaxmadness and lack of sovereign citizen power.

The states of the former Yugoslavia are crazy for the most part, but very plucky when it comes to disdain of centralized power and most of them are not yet EU.

Central and south America are always at the whim of the current thief-in-chief and most require vax for foreign entry.

Asia is of course, a shithole where government does as it pleases. Africa is baked for the next 100 years at least, no options there.

The great reset is a mighty overlord and difficult to escape.

I try to see the silver linings, at least in other countries. If I didn't, I wouldn't be alive by now...

Not that I don't agree. I just refuse to accept the ubiquity of this state of affairs. Because I need some hope to cling to.

You can't live without hope. We already know this, from concentration camps and Jap POW camps of Allied soldiers in WW2, where some of my indirect ancestors died...

I may have given up hope in the immediate future of my country, but I haven't given up on all humanity. Not yet.

Only one of those that offers WHV to Aussies is Uruguay. So that's an option, yes. The others... I don't even know. :-/

Just come to Poland, mate. It's pretty great. The Poles hate their government, and they hate every other government. And the Hate pretty everybody they can equally. It's refreshing.

Look into the E-3 visa. Besides the TN visa, it's one of the easier immigration visas to get in the United States.

Best of luck. It will probably be difficult, but it may open up opportunities you wouldn't have ever known about otherwise.

Thanks a lot! And absolutely, yes! I totally view it that way.

I'm behind where I should be, at this age, in "adulting"-ness, so if nothing else, moving overseas (again) would absolutely force me to get my shit together, and fully properly manage my affairs, without fear or favour, or any real outside help.

Having said that, I survived living and working (volunteering, actually) in India, on my own, and did ok, so I fundamentally can do it. And I have travelled extensively, on my own, including in poor countries, and survived some pretty hectic situations... I just... Could do a better job of it, this time around, I suppose. I've made my mistakes, now. I can do better, the next time this opportunity presents itself.

I just need to work some things out (money, legals, how I can actually do this, when my country won't even let the "unvaxxed" leave), first.

But anyway, yes, I completely agree with everything you said. :-)

And thanks again.

Great. A positive and determined attitude will help a lot. The trick is maintaining it even when things go south, which they will. Probably a few times.

I was stuck in a rut in my early 20s. I failed out of college, and was back living with my parents. I was depressed, and directionless.

I ended up fucking off accross the country with a tiny amount of money, and no solid plan. It was really hard. I was always broke. Always had car trouble. Had legal trouble. Eventually, though I got on my feet and, very gradually became relatively successful. I think it made me much tougher, wiser and more confident to have started totally from scratch in a new place. Granted, I wasn't fleeing an insane tyrannical government. That's even a better motivation!

Australia is attacking the unvaxxed to avoid being criticized for their failure at keeping the virus out by proper border controls.

Also perhaps embarrassed that china bought all their PPE via a secret network of spies.

I mean, the more they show themselves as being more shitty on daily basis, better for us lol. We all know they can go even lower lol. At this point, why even bothering visiting Australia for literally anything

You say that, but the problem is there are still a lot of people in this country willingly cheering this on.

Yeah sadly I do agree with you on this one. But this problem is also problem OF THOSE PEOPLE (apart from the Government and police). Only the biggest psychopaths in disguises are cheering for this bullshit. Luckily, all have been revealed themselves in the last two years. Pro-maskers, pro-coshit bullshit, pro-lockdowns to 'kill' the 'deadly' virus, I see each and every one of them as psychopaths.

Mate we have more guns and gun owners than we did then - the only real difference is we don't have semi auto long arms now and pistol licences are harder to get. Really. Also it's not as though the Americans are defending their rights either just now so your point is absurd.

Arguing with “pro-vaxxers” (my family, in this case), is insane…

“Djokovic has always been an arsehole. I hate arseholes.”

“He lied, he liiiieeed! Kick him out!”

“I’m a doctor, I know better than you. I will always know better than you!”

Ah, Australians… Never change. 🤦🏻‍♂️
