One of my absolute fondest somewhat recent memories is a couple of years back in some random, backwater TF2 surf server that always had horrendous micspam, i mean 24 fucking 7, no matter the hour, someone would be spamming just some straight garbage. Anywho, some map turned into straight up deathmatch and we managed to camp the enemy spawn and this little squeaker is screaming bloody murder at us over some dude blasting some godawful reading of some mushroom kingdom smut, holy hell, the whole thing felt like a fever dream. And that'd probably be a ban by today's standards
My fondest memories of TF2 are the channer servers - The Weebootique, idort's re/v/enge, etc.
You join and server message tells you immediately: This is a micspam server. Talking = Ban. Complaining about micspam = Ban.
24/7 youtube poop sounds, dramatic readings of sonic the hedgehog piss fetish stories, iconic screaming soundbytes, WTFBoom, rickrolls, blaxploitation movie themes (usually Boss Nigger), just... an absolute audio assault on your sanity.
Every 30 minutes some random uninitiated joe-public would join having no idea what sort of crowd he'd just walked into, would complain, and then get immediately vote-banned by everyone.
Even on regular servers I remember the sonic the hedgehog porn and people laughing and having a good time.
And all kinds of offensive sprays. Somebody would do their goat.se spray and it'd get covered over with boobs.
Must be an equivalent around somewhere on discord servers or wherever, but maybe kids are just in such a panopticon society they can't ever experience realness.
and it's okay to rip on anti-vaxxers/anti-mandaters, and push WEF talking points, but the second you cite their own words on something that makes them look bad, it's no "misinformation" or "off topic politics"
Does that matter? Its okay with you that Microsoft is spending billions on women because it is in SEA? It goes with your crazy matriarchy conspiracy theory more than 99% of the dumb shit you post. This is why no one should take you seriously. You have no principles.
I didn't say that. What I mean is that Asian countries are already heavily matriarchal. It's likely part of being able to do business there that you have to have a good reputation in the eyes of the kind of people who think Megalia should be a political party.
The fact that reports are automated and MSFT was the only company that didn't sign the "misogyny is a real issue" social contract between Big Tech companies.
In that case there would be a short term loss on banning some customers. The long term gain would be in the power to silence anyone criticizing your company. Sony/Microsoft would work with Facebook/Twitter/Amazon/Google to silence anything they want. They already work with each other to kill competitors like Parler. In the long term having ability to censor all public opinions over the Internet is much more profitable.
I wish it would work like that. Truth is, these people will most likely just make new accounts and buy the same games all over again. They'll actually increase sales.
I'm definitely going to have fun with this. Especially if bans are carried from other Microsoft properties.
Microsoft News bans are all automated based on reports, so if everyone reports every single feminist user on there, the ban will carry across every Microsoft platform.
Subject them to the same rules they subject us to. Fighting fire with fire. I used to think this was a bad idea. Now not anymore!
If they believe in a system that advocates for censorship(banning, book burnings, media control, et al), or is into censorship(banning toxic players, censoring naughty words at al), I make sure they are subjected to the same rules as I am, even a small slight and I will report it.
I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to the extent it increases burden on the censors, but unequal enforcement means that it probably won't do a whole lot to the average leftist in the long run.
I miss the days of pressing mute when I didn't want to hear some squeaker get mad when I told him I fucked his mother

Good fucking times with MY PEOPLE.

didnt they ban spraying? tis very gay how much big tech and the current culture has ruined the hobby.
Now there's a term I absolutely needed in my vocabulary. Thanks, man.
Social credit in gaming. Sounds fun!
First they'll ban users of the N-word, then those who spread "misinformation".
Nintendo?
N'wah
nintendo has no chat ( ͡□ ͜ʖ ͡□)
N word. F word. B word.
In their defence, nobody comes on Xbox to hear a detailed report on myocarditis.
Politics ban is not the worst idea...as long as it applies to the enemy too.
because "politics" bans are always one sided.
they always end up exempting identity politics.
and it's okay to rip on anti-vaxxers/anti-mandaters, and push WEF talking points, but the second you cite their own words on something that makes them look bad, it's no "misinformation" or "off topic politics"
I have faith in Microsoft.

Notice the very obvious missing name?
Microsoft and She Loves Tech partner to unlock US$1billion in capital for women entrepreneurs

Fair point.
Yeah, they don’t live long enough to talk about it.
And can't buy microtransactions! How crazy would it be if they did this only to find the biggest whales are the most toxic players?
They don’t need American sales when they accepted China “investment”.

That may sounds great but there will always be dissidents so in effect their reckless banning would always result in losing customers.
I dunno, I see far too many of these types of players literally just buy the game again and get another account over and over.

Turning the other cheek was never a good idea.
It was an honorable idea. The problem is that they have no honor.
I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to the extent it increases burden on the censors, but unequal enforcement means that it probably won't do a whole lot to the average leftist in the long run.
Probably not. But it is better than nothing, and considering some systems(like facebook) uses AI, it can then be abused to take them down too.
Fighting fire with fire is very effective.
Already stopped paying and playing this shit. Damn, I can't spend hundreds of dollars and hours gooming woke shit.
eat shit faggot
