If they believe in a system that advocates for censorship(banning, book burnings, media control, et al), or is into censorship(banning toxic players, censoring naughty words at al), I make sure they are subjected to the same rules as I am, even a small slight and I will report it.
I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to the extent it increases burden on the censors, but unequal enforcement means that it probably won't do a whole lot to the average leftist in the long run.

It was an honorable idea. The problem is that they have no honor.

Probably not. But it is better than nothing, and considering some systems(like facebook) uses AI, it can then be abused to take them down too.
