The rules are ridiculous. I see Dom is doing 0-day nukes for spammers, which is the right thing, so why do we have all this crap?
Most of them fall under buckets of illegal (already covered by ToS), spam, or anti-botting measures.
Of the remaining, Rule 16 is used to delete too much content. But although I get that this isn't a free speech forum, a lot of it falls under anti-brigading measures already being utilized so we could have some leniency here.
IMO rule 14 should be based on account age and karma. Keep it at 1 or 2 a day until say 1000 karma and 3-6 months of account age, then go up to 5. There's no reason to be too restrictive on people who have proven that they can be trusted not to shit the place up. I don't know how feasible that is without automod though.
adding on that many rules is a slippery slope... the 'best govt' is a minimal one, and all that.

The problem is that Dom only has so much time to devote to being a janny, and most of that has to be spent on the Faggit sub where it's in constant danger of being nuked. Instead, any such content had to be posted to a containment subreddit called r/kiameta, which he opened for that purpose. Transgression against that sacred rule was awarded with a permanent ban from both. That state carried on for a few weeks, then months, then half a year... All the while the evidence of mod abuse piled up. Then, after the documentation of mod abuse on kiameta became too plentiful to ignore, he simply put a lid on it and set it to private - which it remains as to this day.
I literally would not piss on that sorry excuse of a traitor if he was on fire. Actually I'd probably donate another gallon of gasoline for good measure.

It depends on the autojanny's ruleset. If a live janny can manually approve a deleted post then it's fine, it'll just be public a bit later, it's no big deal.
