I honestly can't believe they brought back and successfully pushed what is basically genital mutilation under the guise of something different.
The end of the Roman Empire saw an epidemic of trannies with the cult of Magna Mater. The Byzantine, Assyrian, Ottoman, and various Chinese empires had eunuchs running the show at the end. It seems to be a thing dying societies do.
I don't know anything about Magna Matter but I'm rather concerned that they created Eunuchs in the first place. Seems to be what they're trying to do.
Other theory is that it's a eugenics program meant to get people vulnerable to certain rhetoric to self-sterilize. It has a bad rep but honestly I find this far preferrable to the eunics thing.
There's an element of separating the soul/will from the body, where the only "good" is forcing human will on reality like gods. It's also part of breaking down all categories of people so that everyone is a homogenized unit, which makes things easier from a managerial perspective. And, it dovetails nicely with giving children agency to consent to getting fucked. Ultimately, these people are simply evil, and recognizing that they all need to be removed is the only thing that truly matters.

You are right in one sense... but since we are readily giving hormone blockers to kids and rushing people to get their bodies mutilated... I would say it is basically the same phenomenon.
