But Wednesday’s oral arguments, in a case involving a Mississippi law that would bar most abortions after 15 weeks, changed those sentiments, he said. “It is hard to watch that — and I did watch a fair amount of it — and not conclude that the court has become a partisan institution,” Schatz said. “And so the question becomes, well, what do we do about it? I’m not sure. But I don’t think the answer is nothing.”

Yes because completely ignoring the human right to life for decades was non partisan

If there is even a slight scaling back of the mass ritual child sacrifice, there is a risk we might never birth a new chaos god.

He should try watching an actual abortion. When you see that evil up close, you won't want to do "nothing" either.

Like they wouldn’t be there cheering. These faggots couldn’t give a flying fuck about any human life aside from their own.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said. “We’ve got to think about ways to sort of depoliticize the courts. And one of the ways to do that is to make sure that no one president gets to stack the bench.”

"No more politics!" - Said the politician wanting to add even more judges exclusively selected and confirmed by other politicians.

I think it was 2018, there was a bill proposed to set the limit for abortions at 20 weeks nationwide. Everybody, blue and red states,, would be equally unhappy. The moloch cultists who comprise the Democratic party shot it down.

I'm not sure what else they expected to happen. You don't get to have babies murdered up til their head leaves their mother's vag in NY and not have other states push for a full abortion ban in response to that

Do it pussy.

That is, or should be, a secession red line. And if it goes through but red states just bitch and dont secede then I know this country is really finished and I flee with my family.

Gee, it's almost like the democrat controlled congress could pass a law allowing abortion. But they never will because then it can't be used as a wedge issue every 4 years.

Passing laws gets in the way of vacations to Haiti. What good are the damn courts if they stop being legislative subcontractors?

They cannot allow this to go through. The more developed the baby is, the more valuable/nutritious it is. If there is any sort of limit, it risks throwing the whole system off.

If there is anything that will stop a red wave next year it’s this ruling…

Is anyone supposed to care about “red wave” rhetoric? It’s just as useless.

But don't you know!? It's more important to get people elected that refuse to use power to defend it's people. If we use power to roll back a single front of the cultural war, we'll lose because it will make our enemies mad! Keep losing so that we can win in some nebulous future.

What the fuck is the point of "muh red wave" if you can't do anything meaningful?

I am not so sure that it will reverse a red wave. It may blunt it somewhat but probably not reverse it.

The court had a one justice liberal majority for decades and the Republicans never proposed altering the number of justices, even when they controlled Congress and the presidency and could force it through.

That the Democrats would suggest it the very first time a ruling might not go their way shows what selfish, spoil-sported pieces of shit they are.

And how stupid are they? There's only two possible outcomes: 1. They precipitate court stacking where every administration adds ever more justices that share their worldview until the Supreme Court grows so large and partisan as to be irrelevent. 2. The red states recognize the attempt to permanently disenfranchise them from favorable Supreme Court rulings and decide to skip straight to civil war.

If you're locked in a democracy with people who flip the table any time they don't get their way, you're only recourse is escape.

They think it will save them but it likely won't be enough to save them.
