Just five or so years ago I wouldn’t have given a damn if a game had a black protagonist, but now I stay away from shit like this and Spider-Man for the simple fact that if the protagonist is black they’re even more likely to fill it with social justice bullshit. Can you imagine how GTA San Andreas would look if they made it today?
Your enemies have already set the rules against you using similar tactics, there's no reason you shouldn't use the same tactics to extricate them and their propaganda from your life.
I have a similar rule, but it's just that I don't engage media that makes me look at ugly people. Very similar effect, to me, because I care about skull shape. I won't even mention the matter of what most humans associate certain colors with.
Justification isn't even really needed, it's kind of a visceral understanding that ugliness is undesirable. But it's helpful to understand that these people really do hate beauty and make noticeable efforts to sabotage the presence of it.
So the both of us could look at the preview image in the OP and nope out similarly even with different reasons.
I get you. A movie has to be specifically designed for women or black people or black people and women will not watch it. This was the argument on why we have now black vikings, black British royalty and WW2 front line women.
It holds to reason that white straight males should watch only shows that cater to them. And what is better, they just have to follow most of European history to do that.

I'm not there yet but I distrust any historical or medieval fantasy movie / game, the first thing I check is if there are black people in it and I just give them a hard pass if they do. For other movies, I do not care as much, as long as it fits the time period, I do not mind it. I have my own problems with feminism, that has universally contaminated all the media.
It's a half-baked idea propped up by diversity and tacked-on side activities. It clocks in at about 5-6 hours of play time. They timed the release to the start of the holiday release rush in early September. Any gamer over 30 smelled this shit from a mile away.
The industry as a whole is so very fucked up right now. Reviewers can't be believed, good games are downplayed, and big franchises are no longer safe bets (its the opposite, mostly) and it all has to do with how much woke horseshit they can pack onto a disc.
There are a handful of good ones this year but mostly they've been glossed over or have been shuffled along in favor of newer stuff. Guardians of the Galaxy was good (combat was the weakest part), Resident Evil Village, Back 4 Blood is fun, Monster Hunter Rise, The Ascent, Hades. All are recent-ish.
I liked Dishonored 1 and 2 (Gameplay in DotO was OK, story was... I actually remember only three things about that whole story, so not great), as well as the Prey reboot. I've got a soft spot for "Shock-styled" games so I wanted to be interested in this game, but literally nothing Arkane put out about this gave me an iota of interest. Maybe if I see it for $10 or less at some point I'll try it out, but I doubt It will be interesting enough to finish.
I love hate the game. When I'm not playing it, I hate it. It's only when I force myself to play it is when I start to enjoy my time with it. But fucking hell does it have problems. From its shit PC port to its clunky ass controls and UI... uhg. And Juliana's little quips gets old pretty fucking fast. She's so one dimensional.
Interesting thesis, and I enjoyed the video, but I've given up on expecting modern game devs to keep a game's story consistent with the design. Maybe it has something to do with the specialisation that comes with a larger development team/project. Feels like the gameplay designers have no idea what the story writers are doing, who have no idea what the level designers are doing, who have no idea what the artists...(you get the idea).
I don't know if it's a lack of directive talent, or vision, or if a talented, visionary in charge would fix it, but few games nowadays have the kind of consistency between narrative, gameplay, lore, and setting they need. Today, you're lucky if you can find a game that deeply considers the ramifications of your gameplay decisions, let alone the designer's.
