Covid is just another coronavirus, they cause 15% of all colds and they cause SARS.

The first SARS pandemic was such a joke

The 2002–2004 outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-1), infected over 8,000 people from 29 different countries and territories, and resulted in at least 774 deaths worldwide.

This one's no better.

The main indicator that it's distinct from the flu is that it's far less lethal to infants and young children. In that regard you might be able to make the argument that if it becomes the dominant seasonal respiratory virus over the flu that is in fact a net positive.

You can even go back to discussions on Polio and see that Polio itself just sprang up out of nowhere and could likely have been a chemical/environmental cause by all of the wonderful chemicals everywhere.

Whether it came from feces or DDT, the solution is clear: stop ingesting toxins. The vaccine itself is toxic, which is why they stopped administering it.

Covid overlaps with symptoms of cold and flu. It's not as crazy as you may think. I put myself in the "undecided" column.

I'm in the "viruses don't cause disease" column. I used to believe that they did, until I learned that no one has ever demonstrated Koch's postulates (even Koch himself, who tried desperately). Basically it is the simple idea that to prove a virus is causing a disease, you need to isolate the virus from infected tissue of someone you suspect has the disease, sequence it, expose a healthy person to the virus (the virus itself, not the virus + contaminants), and see the new person develop the same disease, then isolate the virus from their now infected tissue and sequence it to determine it to be the same.

I've read that the army tried this many times for the Spanish flu and was unable to cause people or animals to become sick. I don't know the truth of this because I wasn't there, but it should be simple enough to prove. Here is another question. How can someone be asymptomatic? If a virus causes disease, then anyone catching the virus should be affected the same way and display the same symptoms. If obtaining proper nutrition and having a strong immune system prevents you from experiencing ill effects "from the virus", then why are we blaming the virus for the disease? Shouldn't the blame be put on poor nutrition?

An example I often use is this: A rabbit dies in the woods. The rabbit's carcass is slowly devoured by bacteria until there is nothing left but a few bone fragments. To an outside observer, it might appear like the bacteria killed the rabbit. I mean they devoured its flesh! But we all know that if the rabbit was healthy and alive, this wouldn't be happening. We are just mistaking an effect for a cause, exactly as we did when it was assumed that scurvy was a bacterial infection because sailors in close proximity were affected.

How can someone be asymptomatic?

Interpersonal variation in immunoresponse is a reasonable explanation for the most common and least lethal illnesses. In the ones that are traditionally more dangerous, I don't know if there is such a thing as an asymptomatic case, just one with fewer symptoms.

Either their body is fighting the invader more effectively, or, similar to an allergic response, (not) over-reacting.

This is all just conjecture based on the premise. I don't have nearly enough data to make a claim.

Interpersonal variation in immunoresponse is a reasonable explanation for the most common and least lethal illnesses.

Yes, but why? It could be nutrition, poor habits like drinking or smoking, being angry or stressed (which even depletes Vitamin A levels), not sleeping enough, or the presence of environmental toxins.

There are so many factors that might contribute to illness which have nothing to do with microbes.

We used to use arsenic as makeup, and in wallpaper too. Some people would get sick and die, while others would be fine. It’s not that they were fine, actually, it’s just that the toxicity was not enough to overcome their body’s defenses.

What things are we putting in our environment today that we don’t even know about?

The biggest problem is that science is fraudulent now, captured by pharmaceutical interests who have strong financial incentive to prop up the germ theory of disease, which forms the basis for their products.

If it is real, then they should be able to isolate these viruses and perform simple experiments to prove how infectious they are. Instead, they inject toxins into a monkey’s brain and then claim after the monkey dies that it must have been the virus, even though no human being is ever infected by having a syringe jammed into their brain…

These personal anecdotes from random nurses and other health-care officials always turn out to be bullshit. Most of the time (and almost certainly this one) it's a narcissist trying to get their name in lights. A few times it's been people who just don't understand what's normal (e.g. new nurses who don't realize hospital chaos isn't COVID, it's always that way, or one nurse literally from Peoria who traveled to Harlem during the pandemic... uh, yeah, big city hospitals are a bit different)

Is Covid real? Sure. It's not like SARS was new, so of course there's a logical progression to additional mutations and worldwide spread. Is it totally massively overblown, absolutely. They lumped anything with cold or flu like symptoms into Covid with overly sensitive inaccurate testing. Then anyone who died with any such symptoms were a death for the scare. Guess what, old people don't always just peacefully fall asleep and don't wake up when they die. I've been through it with a lot of family, they catch common respiratory illnesses that are much worse on their worn out bodies and end up suffocating to death. It's gross and painful. I could pick out relatives that exhibited all the supposed Covid death symptoms 15 years ago.

Those wanting power took the opportunity to use it to take control, and we were left to see just how much of the world was screwed up--pretty much all of it.

As you can see from this comment thread there's a wide spectrum of opinion. From people who don't trust Big Pharma and the so-called "experts" handling of the pandemic, to people who think viruses don't exist. That's going to happen when "mainstream" sources of information are complete bullshit. People have to find or deduce their own information from wherever they can.

Of course the other side will refuse to see any nuance here and use the most extreme examples possible to represent their opponents.

The pandemic isn't real regardless and the branch covidians' behavior reveals they don't believe it is a threat either, despite what they say. The coof isn't in the same ballpark as the Spainish flu, so it doesn't even count as a bad flu.

Hm, archive.md requires javascript. Doesn't even load the whole article, it cuts off at a point. Not looking great for archive.md.

I haven't seen any evidence that covid exists. I have seen a lot of evidence that other people believe it exists. I have no reason to trust those other people, and in fact I believe following their propositions may lead to my harm or the harm of others.

So I can see how someone on their side of the fence might summarize that as me believing covid doesn't exist.

Acceptable evidence to me would be dead bodies in the street, emergency rooms that aren't empty when I visit them, and me or anyone I know personally getting sick with something that doesn't seem like a cold or flu. Pdfs, articles, and talking heads are not evidence to me.

And she said some of them believe that the virus is "created by somebody else

Like, oh, i dont know, the chinese government, and the lab it was created in was compromised? Like, you know, when the lab leak theory was vindicated? No, that cant be it.

So the woman who fled China and claimed the virus was engineered and released intentionally, and even wrote a scientific paper explaining how you would engineer such a virus... do they think she's just lying? She's some foreign intelligence operative? She's just a kook trying to get attention? (I entertain a few theories, but it's hard to imagine what people who completely discount the lab leak theory are thinking.)

I currently operate under the notion that the virus exists, and is a bad cold that I would likely survive. I take supplements to boost my immune system, and I cancel on events if I feel slightly sick. All that said, I have not discounted the idea that covid is the flu, especially after the flu numbers from last year.

This is absolutely true. There are countless reports of un-vaksed patients having to undergo substantial restrictions (such as placing a plastic bag over their heads -- great idea for people with respiratory problems) or being denied care & medications.

This also goes to the question of what an "un-vaksed" person is. An un-vaksed person is:

  • Has had no injection
  • Has had 1 injection
  • Has had 2 injection (but it's not yet two weeks later)
  • (Coming soon) Has had 2 injection but not yet 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.

Note that aftereach inject, there is substantial immunosuppression that causes covid cases. The waiting period between injections and after receiving the injection is used for statistic-manipulation reasons. When you show up at the hospital on day 13 post-2nd-injection with heart issues, you don't count as "vaksed" so this sleight of hand conceals the real problem.

I've seen Twitter posts from nurses that would make people question ever entering a hospital

There's an expression of sorts regarding hospitals,

Hospitals are where you go to die, not get treated.

Because you run the risk of catching something[s] far worse being there rather than not.

I won't step foot in a hospital because there's a non-zero chance I would be vaccinated without my knowledge or consent. Or tested and quarantined against my will.

Go to the hospital and they won't give you Hydroxychloroquine, they won't give you ivermectin. Instead they give you Remdesivir to shred your kidneys and put you on a ventilator to pop your lungs.
