Just remember when you sign that you give away your right to fight it in the future.
Granted your country is so fucked that you probably would have no chance since they'll stack the deck against any litigation and lawyers will run away screaming from you, but the second you put pen to paper that removes your ability to fight.
Consent in this case is for Pfizers sake, not for yours. Like having a mugger make you sign a NDA before he robs you.
I know, I know. But look, the courts here are so utterly fucked at the moment that I’m not sure it would make any difference. Plus, I’m poor as fuck, lol.
But no, I have no intention of waving my “vac status” around, if I can avoid it. Nor do I plan on revealing it EVER, if I don’t have to (I’ve only had one dose, anyway).
However if this means I can see my grandfather again before he dies, well…
Unfortunately that’s the cost/benefit analysis I had to do…
I dated that girl (the older sister), once upon a time. It didn’t end well. But I can’t tell you how much that… Messed me up, when I read it earlier today.
I can’t confirm that, but I just… It seems that way, to me. This was in the middle of the world’s longest lockdown, after all…
I was about to say, I don’t know, but actually I do - turns out the article was from July last year. I just hadn’t seen/heard about it yet, before today…
So the answer is no, because that was BEFORE all these vaccines, remember? Which… Again, I fully expect suicide. “Suddenly”, after all…
And my family seems to think the same, sadly.
If it was coof, I reckon they would tell us that. 😐 Maybe, anyway…
But yeah, the fact that I think it WAS suicide..? That, uhh, messed me up even more… 😞
I think it's important not to condemn or ostracize people who end up getting vaccinated for health or employment or family or whatever reason.
That being said, I think it's also important to point out to those that are thinking of caving and getting vaccinated that each person that does so for whatever reason weakens the cause even more and makes it harder for the rest of us to hold out as numbers continue to dwindle.
That's pretty fucking unbelievable (though I do believe you)
You would think they would at least be professional to your face.
It also doesn't really help the ground campaign when you treat the holdouts like shit when they finally succumb to all their relentless pressure, but then have such a negative experience that they are going to report back to the rest of the resistant.
Though after the hospital Emergency Department “check in” nurse last week shamed me for not being vaxxed (yet), in the same way, while taking my details, I kind of anticipated it, to be honest…
Fuck these people, seriously. Fuck them, fuck their bureaucracy, and fuck their “guilt tripping”…
Eh. 🤷🏻♂️ Ive never worried about death, really. Not since I was a teen.
Dark life experiences (really dark) will do that to you, I suppose…
Health complications, though? Or dying slowly? From the vaccine, maybe. From coof itself? Nah, not really…
Though I’m potentially a week or two off a diagnosis of MS, sew…
I suppose I should be more worried, yeah.
But honestly I worry more about the coming “medical/political apartheid”, in this country, and where that will lead, than I do any of the actual “pandemic”, itself…
I’m willing to die to prevent the “great unvaxxed” being loaded into the camps, if it comes to that. Hopefully it doesn’t, but still…
She tapped it (first), but… I honestly couldn’t tell you, I’m afraid. 😑
Dumb thing, but… I really don’t like needles, and never have (though I’m slowly getting more used to it, what with the whole… possible MS), so I didn’t actually watch it go in. Sorry…
I can tell you that it was… Middling painful, and didn’t really leave much of a mark.
They were so fucking stingy they refused to give me a patch to cover it, though. You know, like any NORMAL immunization clinic would? Fucking slack. So yeah, little bit of blood, but all I got was 20 seconds of cotton wool, and then pretty much told to suck it up, lol… 🙄
Dunno if that helps answer your question? But yeah, didn’t seem to hit a vein or anything, so that’s… Good, I guess?
I was taught to aspirate in school, but no longer do because "the science changed".
Tbf, I was happy to drop it. It seemed theoretical and pointless and just prolonged the painful part and risked someone pulling away from you and fucking things up, especially in children.
Cheers bruh. And yeah, that experience was, umm, absolutely fucking awful, I have to say... And exceptionally humiliating. Yup, no needle in my arm could be worse than that, I would've thought...
Even the overnight cannula!
Honestly worth it though, if it means I can fucking kick this MS shit in the butt, before it proceeds further (I suppose, anyway), so thanks, very much!
If not, eh, fingers crossed for some sort of Paralympic career, eventually, lol...
Write down on a sheet of paper that you were coerced into taking this injection, that you did so under duress, and that you think the people responsible have committed a monstrous wrong against you. Sign and date that shit, then put it someplace safe. It won’t mean anything to a lawyer or a court, but it will mean something to you. It will be a reminder of your true thoughts and feelings at this time, and that’s something worth keeping. They can’t take that away from you.
I'm honestly, genuinely, more concerned about the mob rule taking over Australia, and what the people in power are likely to do to their opponents, me included, in the near future, than I am about this stupid shot, or, obviously, the virus itself...
It's a fucking scary time to be living in Australia, I'll say that much... Shit here is absolutely mental.
Could I have forseen this? Probably.
Did I expect shit would become this authoritarian and oppressive, this quickly? Fuck no...
And I was AWARE we were heading this way. So just imagine if you weren't, or you thought you were "on the right side of history", or whatever...
Saw someone getting vaxxed the other day, nurse was very unprofessional. Made disparaging comments about people who worried about the vaccine unprompted.
I'm hoping to hold out till our state election to see which way the winds are blowing. We are not America, there's not really an unvaccinated economy available.
Mobile grocers with armed security, coming soon to terrorize a neighborhood near you with accessible vegetables. Payment in gold, bullets, and alcohol only. Please disperse when police arrive, as resulting shootouts may disrupt transactions.
No, I don’t hate you. It’s a personal decision, and everyone has different priorities in life. People who submit do make it harder for those trying to resist, but you aren’t forcing it on others.
One last thing to say: today was... A real... Redpill, or even a blackpill, for me.
I've mostly managed to (largely, at least) avoid this shit, just by... Being in a place, and a position, where I could do that. I've been relatively lucky.
As a result, as you know, I've been mostly fighting my battles online, while also... Resisting wherever possible, in my own way, in real life.
Today, that illusion came crashing down. A whole bunch of shit happened, and... I realised some stuff. Maybe I grew up a bit, too...
That article about Aelish and her sister, which I linked somewhere in the comments: hearing something like that, and realising that... You can never just "let things go", or "hope it won't affect you" - that's a seriously tough pill to swallow.
I tried to outrun my demons. But you never can. I guess I have to stop trying.
You off the steroids now? On the off chance you feel any palpitations or inexplicable breathlessness come on, I'd suggest take some NSAIDs and just keep taking the max dose for a week. They won't take you serious about myocarditis unless it gets real bad, but for mild cases it might help minimize any damage.
Full disclosure, the literature on myocarditis shows mixed results with NSAIDs for reducing the damage, some show a significant overall improvement but some show a slight increase. But those were all studies on people with actual viral infections, and the most likely explanation for increased damage is that suppressing the inflammation allows the virus to spread further than it otherwise would have. But the vaccine isn't a viable self-spreading virus, so that shouldn't be an issue with vax myocarditis.
Yeah, last "dose" was on Tuesday arvo, thank fuck...
Still really fucking wiped out, though. :-/ So... Eh. I really, really hope this doesn't make me worse.
They almost didn't give it to me today, because of that (the... "infusion"). But... Did, in the end. I mostly just kept my mouth shut about all that, as much as possible...
But yeah, I'll keep you posted on that. Mostly just have a sore arm, and feel wiped out, for the mo... But I also drank a bit, so we'll see what happens when the beer fully wears off, I suppose!
Trying not to think too much about it all, quite honestly... :-/
If my eye doesn't come back to normal, I have to go on plasmapheresis in a couple of weeks (basically dialysis of my plasma, is my understanding), so...
If I wasn't "immunocompromised" already, after the fucking steroids - I guess I will be even more after that! :-/
Hopefully it doesn't come to that, though... Fucking hopefully. Otherwise fuck having the second dose in 21 days, lol... Fuck that.
One of the first things they emphasize on the first day of medical school is "don’t give unsolicited medical advice to strangers" (secondly, right after the "don’t date or sleep with patients" part)
I'd like to see the theoretical benefit/risk analysis of advising someone who has been acutely ill and on recent glucocorticoids to take "max dose" NSAIDs for a week for theoretical myocarditis prevention.
I'm willing to bet the chances of causing someone to suffer a perforated stomach ulcer or acute prerenal failure as opposed to actually doing them some good, are not on your side, no matter how altruistic your intent may be.
Of course, I guess another big difference is that lay people don’t get sued for giving shit advice.
Well you can make that bet I guess, but it's all just prejudice until you actually look isn't it?
One, this isn't concurrent dosage. They're off IV glucocorticoids for 6 days, even for methylprednisolone that's enough time to be practically clear in terms of GR binding. Hell, their natural cortisol levels might even still be suppressed at this point, practically providing the opposite effect of a concurrent steroid dosage.
Two, I didn't suggest a preventative dose. I suggested a conditional one on symptoms that, whilst not conclusive for myocarditis, are not very likely to occur in the first place. The risk is absolutely nil in the most likely outcome where that condition isn't met.
Three, just a week of following the limits and instructions on over the counter NSAIDs is exceedingly unlikely to lead to peptic ulcer bleeding. I will grant that even absent the direct effect of steroids the risk of renal issues may be slightly more elevated than usual, just because of cumulative strain on the kidneys and metabolites still clearing from the recent illness, but that is an elevation from something even more exceedingly unlikely than the stomach ulcers.
Four, yes being able to give impartial advice free from cover your ass hemming and hawing is great. At no point did I claim authority over their health and they get to take it at face value, research it more, get a second opinion, or ignore it at their leisure. The only thing that happened is information and an idea were presented, without prejudice. No-one can get sued for sincere anonymous advice, sufficiently divorced from a professional setting. No-one is validating it either, neither in sincerity nor content, so it's foolish to take advice you can't personally understand the rationale behind. It's only useful to provide a perspective you may not have considered yet. But as modern standards of integrity have continued to erode, that increasingly applies to advice in all settings anyway. 🤷♀️
Yup, I know that feeling dude. My country, NZ, went from Adolf Ardern literally saying they would never mandate the clot shot, that if you refuse it you will not be punished in any way, that mandating that shit is not the kiwi way, to all of a sudden her demanding we get it within 2 weeks or we lose our jobs. The little cunt went full fascist in record time to the point where even shit like gym workers and hair dressers have to get it. And our courts are totally in her pocket so its a choice of take something that has a VERY good chance of killing me, far more so than China Virus, or be unable to feed my kid.
I legitimately hate that fucking cunt more than I have any politician including Pedo Resident Joe. That fucking whore had just better pray that people like me don't develop myocarditis or any other well known "vax" side effect that kills within a few years. Because once we have nothing left to lose, well, that cunt loves going out among the peasants and we know how long it takes NZ pigs to arrive.
I'm mad about it being freaking sideways more than anything. Also, I like how the "consent" form spends so much time trying to sell you the benefits of the shot. The purpose of a consent form is to educate the recipient of the risks involved and that they acknowledge that should it happen, they willingly waive their right to legally retaliate, because.. you know... they actually WANTED to go through with it on their own volition.
Just remember when you sign that you give away your right to fight it in the future.
Granted your country is so fucked that you probably would have no chance since they'll stack the deck against any litigation and lawyers will run away screaming from you, but the second you put pen to paper that removes your ability to fight.

However if this means I can see my grandfather again before he dies, well…
Unfortunately that’s the cost/benefit analysis I had to do…
I wont condemn you.
Just never forget who stood between you and your grandfather.
See: this - https://amp.abc.net.au/article/12467284
I dated that girl (the older sister), once upon a time. It didn’t end well. But I can’t tell you how much that… Messed me up, when I read it earlier today.
So… Yeah.
Australia, or more specifically Tasmania, 2021… 😔
Why does that read like her sister died of the death jab?
Do you know if they were vaccinated?
I suspect it was suicide, tbh…
That, uhh, messed me up even more… 😞
That's actually worse yet. Being driven to that point.
I hope you don't get any big side effects. Taking a vaccine is starting to look like russian roulette.
"consent" my ass, you are taking the jab under duress
I know. That’s my position, too.
But I’m not sure that will be the universal sentiment here, unfortunately…
I’m expecting a bit of backlash from some.
AMA if you want…
I’ll summarize my experience as best I can.
It was shit, but the jab itself was… Fine. The experience, though? Fucking horrible…
One thing that was interesting was how inept (all) the staff were, and how rude they were when it became apparent this was my first dose…
Australians are rude and useless at the best of times. Australian women and the fucking subcontinent immigrants who work security here even more so…
But fuck, they were awful.
Fuck this country. I hope it burns. It deserves to.
How were the staff rude?
You think they changed their affect once they found out you were a holdout?
They literally refused to book my 2nd appointment, my dude… 😂
“You should have had it already. We can’t help you now. Sort it out yourself.”
It was 👌🏻.
And then when I questioned it, they got extra shitty, called me “irresponsible” and told me, basically, “Tough. Go home.”
Yeah, quality customer service right there, lol…
That's pretty fucking unbelievable (though I do believe you)
You would think they would at least be professional to your face.
It also doesn't really help the ground campaign when you treat the holdouts like shit when they finally succumb to all their relentless pressure, but then have such a negative experience that they are going to report back to the rest of the resistant.
Yeah, agreed…
Though after the hospital Emergency Department “check in” nurse last week shamed me for not being vaxxed (yet), in the same way, while taking my details, I kind of anticipated it, to be honest…
Fuck these people, seriously. Fuck them, fuck their bureaucracy, and fuck their “guilt tripping”…
Are you still worried about dying or health complications?
Eh. 🤷🏻♂️ Ive never worried about death, really. Not since I was a teen.

I’m willing to die to prevent the “great unvaxxed” being loaded into the camps, if it comes to that. Hopefully it doesn’t, but still…
Did they aspirate the jab? (to make sure the intramuscular jab was actually intramuscular)
Or just plunge it in and hope for the best?
She tapped it (first), but… I honestly couldn’t tell you, I’m afraid. 😑
Dumb thing, but… I really don’t like needles, and never have (though I’m slowly getting more used to it, what with the whole… possible MS), so I didn’t actually watch it go in. Sorry…
I can tell you that it was… Middling painful, and didn’t really leave much of a mark.

Dunno if that helps answer your question? But yeah, didn’t seem to hit a vein or anything, so that’s… Good, I guess?
Sounds like she didn’t aspirate it - she just YOLO’d in there and hoped for the best.
Aspirate is when they pull back on the needle after it is inserted in your arm to test :
if they see blood coming into the needle=it is very bad as they hit one of your blood vessels
if they don’t see blood = it means they put the needle into the muscle and avoided the blood vessels = good = go ahead and inject the vaxx
Can confirm.

I don't hate you, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive in a Fascist country.
You should be able to modify the document prior to signing, even just to write that you're signing under duress.
Security guard literally didn’t like me taking photos of it, or “taking my time”…
Hence the shitty photo, heh. So… Yeah. It was very much rushed, and very much under duress, lol… 🤦🏻♂️
Remember - each booster jab has the same side effect risks.
In Israel - 2 jabs isn’t considered vaccinated. You need 3 or 4.
You probably won't die. Fast.
I'm honestly, genuinely, more concerned about the mob rule taking over Australia, and what the people in power are likely to do to their opponents, me included, in the near future, than I am about this stupid shot, or, obviously, the virus itself...

And I was AWARE we were heading this way. So just imagine if you weren't, or you thought you were "on the right side of history", or whatever...
Get armed up. By whatever means. War is coming for you...
Oddly, I have access to some... Melee weapons.
Probably more than most people, anyway.
Also cars. Cars can be "weaponised", of course, lol...
Getting a gun here, though, is next to fucking impossible, at least legally...
But yeah, it does... Seem that way. Increasingly, I must say...
Bruh, you think you might have MS. Get your health sorted out first.
Saw someone getting vaxxed the other day, nurse was very unprofessional. Made disparaging comments about people who worried about the vaccine unprompted.
I'm hoping to hold out till our state election to see which way the winds are blowing. We are not America, there's not really an unvaccinated economy available.
Yeah, shit’s fucked here, hey..?
You in AfDanistan..??
Polling suggests a win for Big Ears, STILL, even after all this, which is just…
Fuck this country, and its inhabitants, man…
But yeah, you’re right. They’re literally trying to treat us like… Well, like a certain group, post-1933, which is just wonderful…
thankfully no, but what's the fundamental difference, we're in a state of emergency powers that keeps getting rolled over.

A very respectable reply.
IANAL, but I wouldn't want to put that belief to the test.
Yeah, agreed on not wanting to test that. Here especially my primary precaution is not making it easy to know who to sue in the first place.
Yup, I know that feeling dude.
