Australia learned this with women's resumes years and years and years ago. You'd think they'd learn from their own learnings: A "desirable group" name gets you a bonus. A "desirable group" picture gets you a double bonus. This is well-known, well-documented happenings.

Why even bother talking about removing bias at this point? Just promote blacks and women above whites directly. It’s already obvious what is happening.
No it really doens't. You go to officer school and then start your career as a low ranking officer. They dont even need to ever see active combat to rise through the ranks. They just need connections and to not make too many mistakes.
