I'm sorry I thought sovereignty was a thing....?

Self governance?

Fuck the EU. Hungary and Poland should eject from that shit.

I'm actually really liking what I hear about Poland lately.... wonder if they have a good summer home market...

Remember, it's not an unelected dictatorship, it's just a trade agreement.

Never has there been a Motte & Bailey quite as ridiculous.

Remember, the EU is constantly striving towards an 'ever closer union'. From its inception it wanted to become a federal state, and it will if it can force its member states to go along with it.

As for Poland and Hungary, unfortunately they benefit greatly from the monetary kickbacks they get from the EU, since they get a lot more in benefits than they contribute. I don't think they'll be leaving anytime soon, even despite their politics.

I'm sorry I thought sovereignty was a thing....?

It's not in the EUSSR. Which is why Brexiteers won, and the EUSSR spent 5 years and counting trying to punish the UK for it. It's basically a federalism project run by France and Germany. The end game is for the members to have no more (and probably less) sovereignty than the State of Oklahoma.

They do seem to hold the view that they have some kind of natural right to anything that's ever been a part of the EU ... see how hard they've pushed to claim UK territories or territorial waters. A valuable lesson for anybody else seeking to deal with the EU. What they want is your country as their own private possession.

Lol right. Hungary and Poland are weak and incompetent, their armies are useless, they have low minimum wage and religion has too much power in both countries

▲ 17 ▼
– Xzal 17 points 4 years ago +17 / -0

Two of them, symptoms of being in the EU. Low weak military comes about because of NATO rules and a "we will totally defend each other".

Low minimum wage naturally curves towards the smallest value possible because of how it works, and is enforced by the EU to keep wages similar in all EU places.

Religion having too much power? I'm not even religious and don't see how that's a downside. Religion has funded some of the largest and most powerful armies and defenses in the world they also while still corruptible, become corrupted for entirely different causes than what a globohomo go ernment like EU does.

It's also a rallying point against this motte and Bailey alphabet bullshit. There's a reason why some of the most heavily affected places have little to no respect for religion or spiritual culture.

Yeah, blame EU for everything.... Without NATO, many European countries would have the draft which would piss off a lot of people.

Why do countries like The Netherlands and Germany have higher minimum wage than Hungary and Poland?

Religion has no place in the state. People whop believe in fairies shouldn't be able to influence a country's affairs.

Even with the EU, many countries still have a form of the draft. Ex military who have left service can be forced back into action, reserve services or just out right draft laws.

Netherlands and Germany have been ng higher NMW, because Germany is the power house hoarding employment and budget balance. Germany has the luxury of setting high NMW because of the masses of payments made into the EU, because of the EU enforced trade through Germany.

Netherlands has a high NMW because they also have a 50% tax rate. You'll also notice that in every EU country regardless of where the NMW is set, most wages are depressed to meet the NMW (wage disparity is not an evil thing).

As for religion should have no bearing in country operations. Yes it should. Its a balancing factor. You're just paranoid of the past events where religious organisations overran the government. We are now in the inverse.

They have high tax in return of better public services, better quality living unlike Poland where everyone wants to leave.

Religion should not have a part of religion, the existence of God hasn't been proven yet so religion should stay in the background where it belongs.

Poland where everyone wants to leave.

What you talking about? Sure they have emigration in the past to wealthier countries but a lot of them love their country with a passion. Even those who leave.

As for religion, just because you hate religion because you are a bigot does not mean it is bad.

"As for religion, just because you hate religion because you are a bigot does not mean it is bad."

Religion is bad, look how many kids have been molested by priests (who get away by it). Religion is brainwashing just as much as SJW nonsense and neither of them use evidence.

Their armies, huh? Last time I was part of a NATO exercise the Germans didn't have enough guns, and they had painted broomsticks black and were yelling bang. Your average state Highway Patrol could conquer Germany. They are are a completely flaccid society in every sense of the word.

I don't think the Polish would have much trouble.

America would shut down Poland in a heartbeat, it would be a complete humiliation. If US leaves NATO, Germany will rebuild with or without the draft and easily defeat the Polish clowns.

I doubt that, Germans would not charge Poland again. Germans best military advancement has been uniforms for pregnant women. Second if US would not interfere Poland vs Germany would lead to Russia joining on Poland side.

And Germany is not anti-Poland or anti-Hungary, in fact Germany and Hungary have been very close and on good terms.

You speak so much out of your ass about Poland and their place in EU that makes me think you are not from around there.

If Poland somehow invades Germany, Germany will beat the shit out of them (with the draft) especially if France and UK assists.

If Russia gets involved, Germany might lose. Germany has better equipment e.g. tanks but Russia has more men even with a German draft.

Kaarous mentioned Germany so that's why I started talking about Germany.

It's a fact that Poland (and Hungary) are net beneficiaries from the EU

The Russian army has been greatly downsized. They actually have only 1 division anymore (the rest turned into brigades and such, or disbanded).

Yes they find the EU useful, no they are not about to give up their independence to a bunch of white hating globalists that hate them for having a culture and a people. The fact that EU is abusing and enforcing their destructive globalist agenda on countries that reject it means that Hungary and Poland will need to profit even more off it, if I could I would run the EU in the ground.

No one is going to invade anyone over degenerates. Germany is trash in term of military and so is Poland. France and UK do have power but I doubt' any of that will matter no one will start any aggression. Russia would defeat both France and UK at this point but that is a battle neither would want or care about.

There's already a large chunk of Russia within its current borders, that is west of the Volga.

For the most part in its last millennia Russia has spent more time fending off threats to its own borders by various vandals, vikings, and Khans. The mostly empty Russian far east/China area is a big concern for them considering China's bursting billion and a half people and Russia with only 150 million spread across 10 time zones.

Insofar as borders go, the Russians have other fish to fry. The Crimea doesn't really count, that area has been the land of the Rus for a very long time.

Sadly you are correct. Poland and Hungary do not have enough power to make any change. There are other countries that would normally back them up, Romania and Bulgaria for instance, but are even weaker.

Sadly, while I would like the EU destroyed it will not happen.
