When the government is listening to everything you say, at all times, to monitor your private speech and make sure you’re not engaging in wrong think, you may be living under an authoritarian regime. When they decide spying on your private txt messages isn’t good enough anymore, and they lean on phone manufacturers to turn on your phone’s microphone to listen for wrong think keywords, so they can monitor your private verbal speech as well, I won’t be surprised.

And no, the government coercing private companies to monitor you on their behalf doesn’t absolve them of culpability for their authoritarian communist bullshit. What a joke.

Clinton and Bush jr might be worst things to have happened to America because Clinton set stage and under Bush jr surveillance law was created

Dulles-era CIA laid the foundation for domestic surveillance 60 years ago. It never really stopped, just kept evolving.

One of the things I hate most about this bullshit is that normies would probably call you a conspiracy theorist because of that while they would have almost certainly called you a conspiracy theorist before if you had suggested that they would police text messages.

People are in such fucking denial.

Remember when Democrats lost their shit over Bush listening in on a few international Al Qaeda calls? I miss those days.

Lolyeah it is crazy how much they have changed. Honestly makes me think they never really cared and instead it was always just party politics.

Honestly I don't mind the gov spying on other nations. I say spy away and spy as mjuch as possible. When you get to spying on citizens though.... that is a totally different thing and where I draw the line.

I am sorry but how in the world is this sort of spying, listening into private messages which would be illegal if any citizen did it to another citizen, not an unwarranted search? [Oh I guess some judge just throws out a general warrant that makes all ok? that is messed up if so]

If your government is globalist, as our current regime is, then any intelligence apparatus will be aimed squarely at the citizens because we represent the greatest threat their power.

Gotta admit, his handlers are making moves a lot quicker than i thought.

Still waiting on the "he'll be a return to normalcy" sheep to speak up again, they've all been silent since election night.

Biden Administration's response to accusation of deploying "goons" to suppress dissent: conscript industry goons to stop people talking about dissent.

C'mon man! I'm the first text message in my family to get passed as legislation. Patriots can get just as vaccinated as black kids. Act, fat!

7 years ago: Social media censorship of a hashtag because we just wanted journalists to stop being unethical asshats and to keep Critical Theory fuckery out of our entertainment.

Now: Social media censorship to get Big Tech to invade our phones and force the government's view on us.

For fucks sake I just wanted to play video games man.

I guess I need a open and obvious code. For example when I say, "you should accept the serum of salvation from glorious Lord Fauci," what I really mean is "get fucked"

Or in reality if you really want secure conversation be sure you control the encryption and the keys. If a third party is sharing keys and encrypting for you, they are a security risk.

Dipping your grubby little fingers into my SMS messages is basically showing me the exit door. The Snowden files were bad enough, but adding a twitter style disclaimer to my private messages? later sk8r.
