Jesus Christ these people are obsessed and need to stop ruining everything that is good and make their own stupid shit but that will never happen cause they don't have a single creative bone in their body

In the words of a fictional communist villain, "you can't have a nightmare if you never dream". They need to destroy the dreams and fantasies of everyone, because aspirations, hope, creation, and dreams, these things lead to inequity. The NPCs have pathological aphantasia: Creativity and imagination are prohibited from their mind, to imagine a novel idea is simply not allowed.

Which is why you must brutally rebuke them at every turn. They won't stop until they are quite literally forced to stop.

But I’m sure none of this garbage will infest Amazon’s show

I wish Token had included obvious sexist and racist themes in his book so as to gatekeep these weirdos out.

It probably wouldn't stop them but it might. I'd rather they treated him like Orson Scott Card and just called him a homophobe and hated his works.

Lord Of The Rings belongs to the rainbow mafia. If you don't like it, you can make your own Lord Of The Rings, and then you can have it contain anything you want, like a traditional male-focused hero's journey.

I hope they serve kool-aid there.

On an unrelated topic, I didn't realize Lauren Southern was still trying to revive her political commentator career. I followed her while she was making funny Youtube videos calling out the left, recording Antifa riots, and made a few decent documentaries, but she decided to stop to have a family (which is admirable), but a little while after her kid was born she made a few Youtube videos that got ratiod to hell, because most of her former followers had realized she was a neocon milquetoast righty, which we have enough of. I honestly can't remember what she said or did to turn off most of her former followers, just that she got torn to shreds in the comment section, so much so that she made her last video private, and I hadn't heard anything more from her since.

Okay, yeah I remember that now. Thanks for the reminder.

She outed herself as a jew, in addition to the reasons you state.

Tolkien would probably strangle these people.

He was their ideological opposite.

There is a critical shortage of righteous violence.

Tolkien Society Seminar

We should have a convention called Xenocon Ten Thousand.

They come out as Tolkein fans within seconds after Christopher's death. I don't buy that they're genuine Tolkein fans.

It's a bit like how Terry Pratchett's works attracts extreme Leftists out of the woodwork. Even though the man himself was probably a moderate. These people just congregate around any fantasy author out there...

Pratchett’s characters are all surprisingly ‘conservative’ in many ways. Both Weatherwax and Vimes continually lament many of the changes of the world forced on them. In addition, I’d argue that most of the changes that DO happen in the world mostly line up with a democratization (moving from aristocracy to more accessible power and mobility) and not the usual progressive movements.

The 5th Witches book (The one with the Witches vs the Corporatized Vampires) is super conservative. I've always had a feeling the man himself didn't realize it, he just wanted to write a good story.

Exactly. There was very little messaging going on, just exploration and storytelling within the Discworld. Resulted in a pretty nice balance, where you can both recognize that vampires shouldn’t modernize, but also see that you don’t need to hate golems. A special blend.
