Leaked Amazon docs shows that they use diversity to help prevent unionization... Reddit mods label it as "racist propaganda" (archive.is)

Amazon already admitted that a more diverse workforce is a bulwark against unionization. Same reason the elites imported hundreds of millions of non-whites into the West.

The unions get what they deserve I guess. Imagine importing your own destruction and then celebrating it.

Someone was criticizing the unions in patriots.win, and got this response:

Having a manufacturing job that pays $30 an hour with a REQUIRED 4% union vig or working at a non-union convenience store at $12?

I would sell my soul to that devil for a better life for me and my family.

He did!

Those manufacturing jobs disappearing and being replaced with automation which pays no wages is exactly what the unions created. They destroy everything they touch.

I've actually been trying to spread Austrian economics in my company.

It is not as much an admission as an acknowledgement. This has been known for years. Diversity is harmful to social capital.

That depends on your definition of diversity though because the warehouse that voted not to unionize was anything but diverse:

The union estimated that 85 percent of the workers at the Bessemer warehouse were Black.

On the other hand, the union ran on a whole boatload of diversity nonsense which apparently wasn't particularly popular among the workers. So in a way diversity prevented unionization, except it was the union's own fault.

Turns out grievance mongering is both easier and more profitable over actually helping someone.

So basically their platform was "we want a union because we're black" but had nothing else of any substance, benefit, or plan to offer?

Sounds like a perfect example of modern democracy in action.

  1. Unionize

  2. Collect union dues

  3. ?????

  1. Profit

Yeah, basically.

Honestly, a well run union would do extremely well nowadays. Imagine a union that could promise training courses, health care savings account in addition to company standards, free legal services up to a certain point, and serve as a recruiting & certification mechanism for companies looking for work. Imagine if you union looked for jobs for you, even in multiple industries, and would pay moving expenses.

The problem is that their greedly leftist thugs that don't like working.

You described a legitimate unionization. What they tried to put together is closer to a sharing of grievances, little more than an agreement to stop working immediately at the first sign of an employer having standards. Pushing heavy BLM affiliation is counterproductive to gaining anything; it's like Antifa starting a neighborhood cleanup initiative. Would anyone trust it, and how many self-proclaimed true believers would even show up to do the part that involves anything resembling work?

You described a legitimate unionization

And I've never seen it happen in my life, and it has very rarely ever happened in my father's lifetime (he's a boomer).

I have literally, never once, seen a union do what I suggest.

I think it's possible for a good union to exist, I just don't think they do because they are still run by Leftists.

That depends on your definition of diversity

There is only one definition: nonwhites in white nations. Any other definition is operationally meaningless.

On the other hand, the union ran on a whole boatload of diversity nonsense which apparently wasn't particularly popular among the workers. So in a way diversity prevented unionization, except it was the union's own fault.

Either way, the oligarchs' promotion of 'diversity' paid dividends.

There's economic right-left and cultural right-left.

Like the FT, Business Insider is probably economically right of center and culturally ultra-far-left.

The retard mod is so left wing and so anti-CONSERVATIVES BAD HURRDURR the retard tried to take over the narrative.

But the rest of the sub won't have none of it. Imagine being so fucking triggered by a right winger THAT IS POINTING SOMETHING AMAZON IS DOING THAT HAS BEEN DONE HUNDREDS OF TIMES IN HISTORY that you have to write a fucking essay to do character attacks on him when the article is 100% correct.

You see? Shit like this is why I went from being a "center-left" guy to just a populist with some right wing tendencies, it's because the modern left's fucking blind hatred for anything that conflicts with their world view. There are some things that the left-populists AND right-populists can work on. Amazon is fucking over the little guy but you got this midwit leftist "mod" playing bat for Amazon while calling a business insider writer a "right wing hack". All because this thing DARES to go against his narrative.

Pathetic.

Another example - Brexit. Brexit could've easily been argued from a left-wing populist angle. But that conversation was completely ignored. I was able to red pill a Labour Party voting dude on Brexit because I made leftist arguments on why Brexit is necessary. He didn't like my reasoning, but he also couldn't refute it. And how could he? Why would he be in favor of the EU when it's done nothing for Britain? Why would he want to be part of some authoritarian government that can be EASILY captured by corporations? He works for the damn NHS, if the UK stayed in the EU they would've been forced to accept even more migrants and put further strain on the damn service he works for.

The retard mod

You repeated yourself.

There are some things that the left-populists AND right-populists can work on.

The left is not interested in getting anything done, I'm afraid. At least anything positive. Reparations, hare-brained quotas, denying vaccines to older people because they are not 'diverse' enough, now that.

Brexit could've easily been argued from a left-wing populist angle. But that conversation was completely ignored.

That the 'left' is arguing for an unaccountable neoliberal superstate is quite sad (note that most Americans think that the EU is 'communist', cause they don't know about anything outside their little country). Still, I think most left-populists voted for Brexit. And a lot of them were lost to Labour afterwards, the folks in the north.

The moderator says:

Business Insider is also right wing propaganda but like...

Miss Teen South Carolina regards Business Insider as right-wing propaganda. Incredible. Maybe on economic issues, but they're SJWs to the core.

it's not like alt right nazi stuff so much as boot licking rich corporatist stuff, which is better, I guess.

Yes, the people robbing you are better because they put a label on the people opposing them.

It also doesn't mean that the reason they're trying to hire a diverse workforce is because they're trying not to hire people likely to form a union.

The extent to which identitarianism as an acid eating away at the mind of anyone who is on the left is demonstrated here to the fullest extent. This guy knows Amazon is after profit above all else. He knows it wants to sabotage unions. BUT... when it comes to the 'diversity' nonsense, he suddenly believes that it's done with the best of intentions, because NPC.

Now, with all that said this is... really dystopic and... really boring so... I consider this to be a fine post I guess, but I'm watchin' these comments.

Big Brother is watching you. Talking about dystopia.

Leftists attacking Leftists so that one racket doesn't dominate another. The problem is, Amazon doesn't realize that uninionization is actually less dangerous than racial balkanization within it's own company.

You only have to deal with one union as a protection racket operating within your company. If you go with racial bolshevism, you're going to have multiple groups engaging in massive infighting that will tear the company to absolute fucking pieces.
