What are these people doing?
posted 5 years ago by yoisi 5 years ago by yoisi +44 / -0

These people are literally making their own propaganda, acting like its real , circlejerking about it and getting angry at the made up "demon figure" they created in their head. https://invidious.kavin.rocks/watch?v=dBw0eTkQ5IU

Leftism is synonymous with hysterical mass psychosis. Unfortunately, at the rate things are going, I don't see any way to jolt them out of said mass psychosis - and in so doing save the rest of the country - other than [maximal fedposting]

I saw it described as the "The political expression of self-hatred" which is quite accurate. If you look at any self-deprecating phrase on twitter and check their bio, there's a high chance of progressive virtue signaling as well.

I was talking to somebody and they made a good point about this when it comes to women. I'm sure you're aware of the concept of a "shit test" but that's only in a relationship, women do that on a political level too.

Like supporting abortion is saying to the men in society "are you strong enough to stop me from killing your baby?" to which the answer has been no. European men of the 20th century have failed their societal shit test, and are living with the results.

Since at least 2014 I've been hearing "Red Pill" communities say that feminism itself is one giant shit test. So your theory is in good company.

Yes, that's why I was skeptical of what he was saying too. He was saying that it was used as a genetic compulsion to always search for stronger males that has gone out of control. I don't think that (European) women's nature is necessarily to be evil like that, but that other forces within society enable those kind of tendencies to dominate everything else.

"Other forces" you aren't supposed to notice.

Seems like we've had too much to think, citizen. (/s)

I used to think it was hysteria and psychosis. Now I'm pretty sure it's just histrionics. It's almost all performative. They use their emotions to manipulate everyone into going along with radical leftist politics. Most leftist accusations are, at their core, about someone being "mean" - not incorrect.

It would be more accurate to describe leftism as the manifestation of cluster b personality disorders.

Hysterical dramatization of something that has never fucking happened.

no need to say "girl gamer", it's just gamer Oh, cool. They are now stealing our position and pushing it as their own.

WTF? That was the worst After School Special I ever did see, even more unrealistic than usual. I didn't watch the whole thing, just skipped around.

Game console? From Santa, to The Family. That's how big-ticket items that everyone would like come at Christmas. That sort of thing is exactly what "Santa" is for, when it comes to kids that age.

No mother ever said "girls CAN'T play video games". In fact, I don't think anyone ever said that (not being good, or not interested, are other different things. And I know I never liked pre-NES arcade games much, outside of Tempest, Galaga and the original Mario Bros with a friend. Oh, and maybe that other co-op game with the elevators, because those were just fun to dick around in.)

Dumb fucker is projecting his own sexist glip-glop culture onto the West. And probably doesn't have kids (beyond baby mommas he doesn't care about) and doesn't do Christmas.

And on the flip side, not all guys like video games. Granted, the ones I know are all around my age or older, but still (gearheads and rich old farmers, mostly.)

My husband mostly just watches me play. I let him handle my characters a few times in the past, he keeps walking them off cliffs by accident. It was really trippy when he did in ESO, in that main quest segment - the second one - where you can't even die, you just walk around following the old dude and getting the whole backstory/setup. Thought I lost my character for a moment (this was just after launch ..) Also walked me off Thunder Bluff once or twice. Didn't realize I was up high. Total computer virgin.

Oddballs in every bunch, yep.

And frankly, gaming just wasn't attractive to most people beyond teens and kids until it diversified. Our parents and grandparents didn't show much interest in them at all, beyond maybe trying once or twice and losing interest. Which was why you had to go to a teen-filled arcade to play them (unless your parents had serious money) and not, say, adult bars and pool halls (I started being able to get into bars (sometimes) around 1985 or 6.)

There is also something to be said about how they may like different kinds of games. For instance, both me and my fiance are into games, but very few of them are the same games. She generally prefers games that are on the silly or cute side. Stuff like West of Loathing, Slime Rancher, Undertale, and Huniepop as the "doesnt really fit in" one. I prefer strategy (usually of the tactical variety), economic sims, racing, and roguelikes in general.

Even then, the games we DO share a like for (Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Hades, Bioshock), we play VERY differently. I prefer a challenge, and will play the games as intended with certain difficulty tweaks as I feel the need to put in a harder time. And to that end, the gameplay is what I care the most about, with the story being important, but not the end all be all. She cares far more about lore, and as such her default mode when playing is to turn on God Mode, give herself all the best gear and infinite money, and then go around to experience the story with little to no issue.

And neither one of us is playing it the wrong way, we enjoy our own ways, and we will sometimes watch each other play. She likes watching me pull of some insane moves that she could never do in a million years, while I laugh at her mods where she has a minigun that shoots nukes for no other reason than "its funny."

As I said, diversification, which came with evolution of technology. Hell, the same generation that dismissed Atari-style games were the same folks (more or less) enjoying bowling and tennis on the Wii in the old-age homes. Kind of a shame to see the passing of that style of controller, but I guess the current and future generation of old-age-home residents will be more familiar with the gamepads (I'm rubbish with them, still stuck on kb+mouse too heavily to really train myself on the X-box controller that sits gathering dust).

The games that first turned me on were Darksun and Diablo, and I kind of went from there (special mention to Dungeon Hack.) Basically, stuff that you started to get with the 286 era (Eye of the Beholder ...)

And yeah, I'm a lot like your fiancee. Though I kind of prefer "immortal mode" (Skyrim and Fallout 4's "tim" command), and just kind of use it as a crutch. And honestly, is why the mako pisses me off, it's barring me from seeing the rest of Mass Effect 1.

It should be interesting to see what, if anything, my husband does with a ps5 whenever I can get my hands on one. Oh, I am so sticking a VR helmet on that man. (I've been to an arcade. He won't go. I don't even natively see in 3D, but VR kicked my ass. How the rest of you people function actually seeing the space between things, is beyond me, I find it terrifying.)

Yep, that is how she plays too. Mostly because, like I said, she cares more about lore, story, and characters. So she makes herself immortal so she can just wade through any challenge and not have her story disrupted.

On that note, we also fight very differently. Since she has infinite ammo (because of said commands) and is blind as a bat without her glasses (she doesnt wear them while playing), she has a tendency to use melee weapons, and if she uses ranged weapons its AOE like grenade launchers, or bullet hoses like miniguns, and she will go into battle screaming "ACCURACY IS FOR DOOOORRRKKKS!!" at the top of her lungs. Meanwhile, I favor custom-tuning my weapons to make them as accurate and easily controlled on the recoil as possible, and when using anything automatic I fire correctly in short controlled burst. Or in Elder Scrolls, she prefers magic, while I prefer heavy armor/heavy weapon+bow builds.

Oh, immortal mode is different from God mode, in that you don't have infinite ammo, and you do get hurt, you just don't die and have to go back so many minutes. Unless you get hit with the "giblet head" bug and don't notice and walk around headless for half an hour. :P I use it because I'm kind of bad at watching my health bar while I fight, because I get tunnel-visioned on what I'm doing and not a bunch of stuff in the margins. That goes for everything.

Ah. I never use console commands so I didnt know there was a difference. I always play very tactically, moving from cover to cover, and taking very deliberate shots and relying on armor to eat any fire that gets past cover.

Also i looked up SSSniperwolf ( featured in the video and the "gamer" that the girl supposedly looks up to) . ..... SSSniperwolf calls herself a gamer but almost none of her videos is about games, they are all reaction videos....and 4 years ago she even has a video called "why i stopped gaming" https://invidious.kavin.rocks/watch?v=t1gDWObF8ac (im using invidious as a back door to avoid giving youtube clicks)

and there seems to also be tons of controversy surrounding this person https://archive.is/OOD0p including, faking videos, being toxic, using other players,, getting undeserved rewards, calling someone else a "convicted sex offender", going to jail for just a few days for armed robbery....yeah you can see the rest of it in the link

Pretty much all the famous 'girl gamers' are genuine pieces of shit. Same with Pokimane currently. They're bullies and hypocrites but with such a huge simp army they never face consequences for it because they play dumb and claim they don't understand what they're doing. "I'm just a girl, silly. Heehee".

I would rather watch an expert in the field on a boring task, than a poseur on an interesting one. Give me a musical prodigy discussing 8-bit chiptunes over a drunken football meathead discussing Mozart. I'll take a real gamer playing Bejeweled over an imitation playing at Doom.

Honesty is the core of my own ideology. If these people are gamers, they should be gamers. To thine self be true. Tiny face-capture screen, big game screen, just the face captured, focus on the play, focus on improving your skills. If they want to be camwhores, segregate the two, put it into gaming when you game, and take off your pants and sit on the camera when you're feeling camwhorey. Be honest and true to both occupations, and to themselves.

SS Sniper Wolf.

Interesting name. Does she not know of the SS, and Hitler's association with the word "wolf"? (And it doesn't come from any love of canines, it came from the meaning of his own name, Adolf.)

I wonder if she's ever heard of Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS ...

(and yeah, anyone who saw the TV series 12 Monkeys, when Cassie was shown in that uniform? That's Ilsa.)

this shit doesn't even happen to begin with. i dont know anyone who says girls can't play games. And actual gamers don't need this ridiculous propaganda . You can tell larpers from a mile away if they apparently need this sort of propaganda to feel validated (and/or love having a victimhood mentality or obsess over pushing SJW politics/agendas, more than the game itself *cough * Anita *cough * journalists *cough * and disrespects the community and culture as well). I certainly never needed this crap , games was my legitimate hobby and interest and thats it no further nonsense needed .
