First the loli thing which is the most obvious one , i also read someone mention how there are also twitter people bullying others over so called "promoting toxic relationships" cause they wrote fanfics shipping the main character with the villain . How are things getting so bad that fiction is so treated like reality now?

Remember the Joker vs. Batgirl meltdown? I think it was a variant cover where he was painting a red smile on her face? It was literally reaching a point of "are the villains not allowed to be evil now?" And an argument that could be found against it- "The Joker isn't a villain, he's an anti-hero!"
and dont forget this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bDkJj9wswE&ab_channel=ClownfishTV
There was also mucb outrage over the X-Men Apocalypse movie billboard featuring the litteral comicbook Supervillain holding Mystique by the neck.
SJWs are mentally broken.
The ultimate irony is that women love 50 Shades, which is gold digger fanfic with dubious consent throughout.
Dubious is stretching it. Its pretty obvious grooming, which makes all consent invalid. And even if you don't want to give that benefit, its pure rape at other times justified retroactively .
Its actually a shining example of why women cannot be taken seriously, because what they want is the worst shit ever.
Is she underage in the book? Because I don't believe it's possibly to "groom" someone who is a legal adult.
21, but acts consistently like someone far younger. Its a problem with the writing honestly how immature, blank, and generally retarded the girl is.
And I'll disagree on that, simply because that's entirely how abusive relationships work. You condition and groom them to accept your mistreatment as normal.
It requires a particularly weak minded person, I'll grant you, but this is a young woman in the West. In porn fiction. The epitome of meant to be manipulated and weak minded.
It's not ironic because only handsome, well off and established men are allowed to roughhouse a women. Why? Because she'd be marrying up so she would still be better off after putting up with his shit.
Retards love to promote conspiracy theories about apolitical media inherently promoting bad shit.
As for the loli thing, most of these people are anti-porn spergs, hypocrites who like feral porn and/or rape porn, or criminal sexual deviants who hate it because it reminds them of their sexual attraction to children.
I personally despise Loli (and a lot of the other obscene shit you've listed), but I'm not anti-porn. I suppose the difference between me and them is that I don't think it should get banned.
If you want to be a degenerate behind closed doors, knock yourself out.
I think that one of the big drivers of this issue is the mainstreaming of the postmodernist idea of anti-realism. The whole idea of "lived experiences", objective reality is a tool of oppression used to subjugate minorities, critical * theory, etc.
There are so many people today who don't care about what is objectively true. They are not interested in attempting to make sense of the world. They operate entirely on emotion and feeling, and they use this as a substitute for "thinking".
All they seek is agreement — they don't care about who is (actually, objectively) right or wrong, or if you're mistaken, or misinformed, or just misunderstood. All they care about is whether or not you agree with them or not.
And if you don't, you are The Enemy.
Keep an eye out for posts explaining how sjw minds function, we used to get some on r/kia2 and they were enriching. I think it's the kind of answer you need here.
I'll give a different theory, though. I think it's largely a product of people that are cursed with cognitive dissonance. Normally, if you get that feeling, you take a break, look inside yourself, and figure out how to resolve your internal conflicts. But some people (like sjws) are unable to self-examine - they aren't averse to it, they literally cannot do it. The why to this is tricky, but not important at the moment, so I'm gonna skip it. Well, what happens to their internal conflict, then? It either keeps building and tortures them, or they rely on outside parties (likely authority figures) to resolve their personal matters and build their belief structures off of a rotten foundation. Both options have terrible results worthy of pity.
So let's say you're broken by cognitive dissonance and encounter something that makes you feel worse (which is a common occurrence). It has some message or facet to it that you can't abide and that you cannot fathom a real human agreeing with. Everyone feels the same way as you, you're normal, of course. Well, naturally you'll want to correct this injustice. If you're a destroyer, you can boycott and form lynch mobs. If you're a builder, you can make a competing product. If you're a manipulator, you can go full villain and join the offending company to fix the problem at its core (which, to you, is to change the product, and not to engage in good faith with the human creators).
Things can spiral out of control when you lose the ability to self reflect. I sincerely wish for them all to get the help they need to overcome their ailment. I also hope a proper study is conducted on how this psychological epidemic came about.
In a world where a man can claim to be a woman, and society applauds, the boundary between fiction and reality are blurred beyond recognition.
These people wouldn't surprise me if there were a wave of trannies on social media with Harry Potter wands and wave them at their balls while screaming "changus vaginus" and actually wondering why they don't work.
So yeah, I would totally agree. We are living in a world where a ton of people think fiction is reality. No reason for me to think they won't turn that around the other way and use reality against fiction.
Well when this morning Babylon Bee headline becomes reality by that afternoon...
In a way I understand what you say, but I also think (sadly) what people, especially what children see coming from all avenues around them does influence what they think.
When you look at SJW youth now, many of them were raised on for example gay fanfiction so much they have a warped view on sexuality and homosexual people as well.
I'm not saying it's 100% successful and all, but people who are easy to manipulate do pick up things from media. Like when minority young girls try to emulate whatever some slutty female rapper does.
You can say fictional media is different, though many real life celebs are putting on a character. Like do you think Beyonce is not some fake plastic facade?
sorry but i dont agree. Fiction is fiction and it should not be censored. Differentiate fiction from reality. This is the same argument as "violent video games causes real life violence" (also real life celebs are no where near the same as fiction wth)
I did not say it should be censored.
But do you think children raised in a certain culture or religion are not more likely to believe those things? New generations of children don't just believe in Santa because genetically they will, but because they get made to believe in him. Not saying that's automatically bad or harmful or should go.
Plus, what about the people who are total mall ninja types? The story is always that they know how to shoot shit in CoD or whatever, so they feel like invincible badasses.
Or think of the girls who are "all totally lesbians" suddenly once the topic becomes trendy, same with genderfucked weirdness. (I'm about to read the Abigail Schrier book.) They didn't just invent that crap. Also, why are there more of said kids in the communities where it's a constant, everyday topic?
Why else would the left target the media and fill everything you hear or see with muh diversity?
Not his hugest fan, but Crowder back in the day made a video showing how the things some invincible action heroine did in her movie are physically ineffective and useless. Why? Because people were believing that hitting someone with a high heel shoe was actually good and useful in a serious fight.
I'm not trying to say we should ban Dragon Ball because kids jumped out a window believing they can fly. Bullshit.
But to claim media has ZERO influence is just untrue.
Another thing, specifically with loli is, I'm not sure how safe it is to form a community of people who have a proclivity for that. Again, it's not as bad as actual child porn. But internet communities formed around loli are extremely suspicious to me.
Again this is the same sort of argument as "fictional violence causes violence in real life" And you can dislike some fictions, but it still has the right to exist.
anything that they cry is "not diverse enough" or "promoting fascism" or stupid things like that, and then their own bad writing and also their attacking and cancelling of any alternatives (the problem isn't the existence of fiction it is the cancelling and attacking of alternatives and/or anything that upsets their sensibilities) and artists and writers that think or write differently from them which they attack and cancel with the typical accusations of "racist, sexist, fascist etc", all this comes from the problem of not differentiating fiction from reality.
Also on the topic of loli i'll just say this, there are studies done that prove it does not effect real life (and there has been a big reoccurring pattern of people who has attacked it but then turned out to be the actual pedo) . The point is learn to differentiate fiction from reality.
I think the issue, then, is the fact that so many people growing up have parents ranging everywhere from dismissive to overly permissive to nonexistent. They aren't actually doing the job of helping their kids separate fact from fantasy, and so those kids end up growing into adults with these weird ideas of how the world works.
Hell, one example is that you can see it with what younger women are saying about the younger men they're sleeping with; the only experience those men with sex is porn and so they end up trying to do things that they see in pornography because they didn't have anyone to tell them how fake, overproduced, and shot it all is. Just illustrative of one of the more visible ways we're seeing this play out,
Hell, I for one got absolutely 0 sex-ed type things from my own dismissive, disinterested parent. I'm just thankful I started with wikipedia before porn otherwise the latter would've been my sole source for "information." And this is just one area in which parents aren't doing their job insofar as helping their kids know fiction and reality are different.
Agreed, but people have forgotten what the word "meme" was originally meant to mean. It means that ideas can spread, and mutate, just like genes. An example that Bulbasaurus is getting at, I think, isn't so much "violent video games encourage violence" so much as, say, the Valley Girl phenomenon of the 1980s. Valley Girl speak spread because of one fucking song by that Zappa kid, and it was originally meant to make fun of california airheads who actually did say crap like "like" every other word and "gag me with a spoon". That song hit, and suddenly every dumb teenager was talking like that, and then it spread, like an infection from there. (Oh, and the television show Square Pegs helped with that, too.)
I remember Sesame Street coming under fire because of its "new" way of teaching kids - with short, fast segments that jumped around from topic to topic, and critics claimed that this would have a TERRIBLE effect on the first generation of kids subjected it (that would be Generation X), including shortened attention spans ... two generations later, and now you see shows that are patterned after Sesame Street ....
And as for people losing their distinction between reality and fiction? Yes, they're the same people who automatically take metaphor literally, and turn fan fiction characters into pagan gods.
Enjoy your tranny children on hormone blockers.
Playing a black character in Pathfinder is black face. Blood apes in a fictional jungle continent is racist.
There are a ton of this in pnp game forums.
Imo this is one of the greatest problems of our time. Around the Dem primary after Kamala dropped out and all of the other candidates were acting like she was some dead civil rights icon like to the extent that like one of them literally said she’d “rest in power” or something ridiculously corny. It finally clicked though and I realized that these people actually think (social) media is real life. It’s why they’re somehow militant and nonsensically inconsistent at the same time
its something they cry a lot on , but those other things you mentioned is true too though. But the subject is more about the inability to differentiate fictional stuff from reality . So much so i've even seen people cry over a villain acting like a villain. Like that one time some people cried "sexism" over darth vader killing his stalker .
I was talking about the twitter people. i thought it was clear i was talking about the twitter type of people not people here.
