I will always be in awe of how the Puritan Left managed to gaslight the planet into believing that, while gatherings will spread the virus despite all precautions made, protests and riots where thousands march, burn, loot and murder shoulder to shoulder with barely any safety measures are perfectly ok.
I'm still shocked that almost nobody is talking about China's responsibility for the virus anymore. This is not just an American thing either, it's global. It's like people just... forgot. They aren't even cracking jokes about it. This most frightening thing about 2020, to me, is understanding just how immensely powerful mass media still is. They can just spin any kind of narrative, any kind, and make it established truth.

I noticed this with humans a long time ago. Animal Farm was right on the money about how human memories are actually pretty short and can easily be fucked with in subtle ways.

Covid restrictions have been lucky to limp over the line of Christmas. Public support is cratering, no matter what the polls say, and most politicians have only kept this going because of the optics. In the new year, with multiple vaccines in circulation, you'll see real divisions appear between politicians and "experts." As in, the experts will still scream to lockdown until the end of time while the politicians finally realise "Oh my god, you people are lunatics. Why did we ever listen to you?"
